Wow. That was a blast from the past. And very enjoyable despite the rain-blurred picture and the constant interruptions from adverts. I grew up in Guildford in the 1950s and 1960s. One of the houses where we lived is on the right just before the first bus stop in the video, although its front garden's long since been paved over and it was a ladies' hair salon when I last went past there in 2002. Further out, up the hill after the turnoff from the A3, the bus passes what used to be my grandmother's house, where my _dad_ spent his childhood! It's interesting to see how much has changed and how much hasn't. Good too to know that Safeguard Coaches are still in business, presumably still running buses out to Westborough, and that the Guildford to Aldershot bus is still the number 20, as it was back in the days of the Aldershot & District Traction Company Limited. 🙂
Apparently stagecoach still hasn't decided if gold branding will stay even though they haven't sprayed any gold for 4years plus Personally I would have made the whole fleet gold branding

I saw this in the pop-ups and I had to look it up to see if it was real or a joke. Two thousand three hundred people have watched a video of the bus journey from Guildford to Aldershot?! Fuck my arse! Couldn't they have just faked some dental work that they pretended to need, just to kill the time more excitingly?
