Many a good gig at the Civic. Oasis on that first tour was a buzz. The Seahorses next door in the Wulfrun (Noel watching from the wings) also a blinder. Thanks.for upload.
His voice was superb throughout, squire also sounds amazing but I wish he would avoid all the blues stuff… he’s such a great guitarist, but this guitar stuff is just too safe and sounds like most other guitarists. Singles sounded great, and a few other tracks… Liam kept walking towards back to let John shine, but you can tell that John doesn’t need that, Liam could just stay up front.
Yea I’ve heard it and love it, but not keen on too much blues, and he admits himself he wished he hadn’t played so many overdubs. Yea he can do what he wants, but it’s not what a lot of fans want.
I think this is Squire's playing style now, doing Clapton-esque blues licks. I doubt he'll be getting his wah pedal out and doing some funky Fool's Gold type stuff.
Wow! Liam sounds incredible here!
Sounds a bit tired, and out of tune tbh
Incredible sounding in Glasgow too. Perfect festival set.

Brilliant gig, totally enjoyed it! Saw Squire here at the Civic Hall back in 1997. He's more Clapton than Jimmy Page these days! 😄
Love him opening with Rainbow!!!
So glad I was never a tourist in my time
That guitar heaven
Somewhere over there
Liam liam liam liammm 😎👏🥳

Squire can do what the fk he wants - have you not listened to Second Coming?
