The press complain about drivers salaries yet no mention of the millions of pounds worth of perfectly good and usable trains rotting away in Long Marston sidings.
@@spyjim "alot (sic) of these trains are spoken for" But not *all* of them. At what point did I say Long Marston was not a brilliant facility? Any train left sitting in a siding is effectively rotting away. Furthermore, why the bolshy arrogance in your comment? No need for it. I suspect you are one of these 'keyboard warriors' happy to be sarcastic or downright rude from the safety of being non-traceable. Here's something you may not know, the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire steam railway has been offered the trackbed all the way to honeyborne sustrans have no use for it but there's a lot of work needed two weeks bridge's need new decks ore re building Great video,

@justinobrien3593 thank you very much glad you enjoyed viewing, I've heard reports that possibly chiltern railways might be getting the mk5s to replace their mk3 stock, not sure how true that is.

Brilliant facility and alot of the trains are spoken for. Certainly not rotting. Don't comment if you don't understand

On test to Kidderminster and then on to Gloucester.
How much does it cost to store these new trains? And the Tri mode 769 lying idle
2 questions: 1 - where is Long Marston? ( I know of 3 x LMs). 2. if a 47 still works why are many more recent locos/trains are being dumped?
@davidsmith6355 long Marston near Stratford upon Avon
@@ozzystransport ah thank you, such a swift response. I will go and look next time I am round that way! Thank you for the video too 🙂
Not just long marston its all over the UK, take a look at toton all those locos dumped in the Sidings,
@@joginns778 it sure is a shame to see all those 60s going to waste
@ozzystransport buy why are they like that,? I understand they were more powerful than the 66 ? At least some 56 s are getting a new lease of life,

Great video many thanks for making and sharing.
Is it a secure site I was surprised they were not covered in graffiti like seems to happen these days?
@johnlaw3323 seemed very secure only the one entrance road from the road and the exit for trains towards Evesham
Should have said Hydroflex on test.
