I don't think it matters how much you know about BTS, it matters how much you love BTS. BTS isn't a "parfait", it don't have "layers". Being an ARMY is like making magic, all you gotta do is believe.

Btw, I know being an army sounds like this high prestigious role, with crazy responsibilities but it really isn’t that crazy. I used to think the same thing. Like “I need to educated myself on everything, all their songs, inside jokes, signature sayings.” Tbh, army is the just name of their fandom, nothing more nothing less. I know people try to make it sound like this big step, but it shouldn’t be. It makes it pressuring and intimidating. With such a “tittle” if you aren’t streaming songs enough, raising their sales more, or keeping up with all the news, you feel like you’re not working hard enough for them.
If you love BTS, frik all of that. As long as your care about them, and support them to the best of your ability. You can consider yourself an army. Don’t worry about the knowledge you have accumulated, because I know BTS wouldn’t care either way 💜
Them not being able to speak English is so freaking cute! That's one of the things that I find so endearing and adorable about them. I honestly be squealing over JK mispronouncing words or being proud of himself for getting stuff right. It's too cute.😍

As someone who had to learn English, it was incredibly hard. I agree with you, genuinely hate when people mock others for learning the language, monolingual bitches always have the audacity. Even now i still find it hard to pronounce certain words, so i always feel proud seeing BTS’ improvement with English.

English wasn't easy for me because my native tongue has nothing in common with English - the grammar is totally different. Also pronunciation was really difficult. i learnt it eventually and I feel for BTS because Korean is also very different to English.

english seems to be an easy language to learn but look at is a non english speaker perspective. Even though you learn the alphabet and sounds, many words have different sounds and like the words like " does, goes" has the "oe" but the e is silent . There is a lof A LOT of grammer rules to learn.
as in korean of it's hard to learn a new language but I found it kind of easy to learn the alhabet and read korean because the way it's spelled is the axact sounds you get. But also depends on asperated sounds etc. Too complicated to explain😂
some people find spanish hard to learn to and I myself think it's easy because I grew up speaking spanish and then learned english at 4 yeats old at school .
No language is easy is what I'm trying to say but it's not impossible 😏

Surprisingly English is actually THE hardest language to learn. Not sure if it’s a proven fact but it’s a very highly popular opinion. I know a few languages and even though English is my first it’s still very complex for me.

I don't think English is as easy to learn as native speakers realize. Which is funny to me because even we don't speak it right. There are all of these rules and exceptions to those rules which pretty much means there are no rules. It isn't close to the hardest language out there, but I wouldn't say it's easy either.

25:48 My first language is English, I can speak Spanish, French and slowly learning Korean...but if you look at the language in a different prospective, it's not easy 😂 Forget slang words, it's the plurals, singulars the prefixes, the suffixes that might confuse people learning it. Words like how "mouse" will change to "mice" in plural...where's the logic in that? They say you would add "es" after using "ouse" yet it doesn't apply to certain words. Mouse/singular = mice/plural, cactus/singular = cacti/plural, octopus/singular = octopi/plural, house/singular = houses/plural, box/singular = boxes/plural. Not to mention the vowels and how to only applies to certain words...like "oo" in "cool" but is different in "wood"...Weird right? 😂
That's just me. I speak English fluently since Ir's my first language, but I think it'll genuinely be much easier to learn languages like English, Spanish, French (etc etc) considering it uses the alphabet, abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz, in comparison to COMPLETELY different characters in other languages, like Korean.

25:50 it was very easy for me to learn basic English tbh (my first language is Spanish btw) the thing is..ive been learning English since I was like 6 yrs old AND im self taught. I learned by reading and listening to music in ENGLISH (also watching tv with subtitles helped me a LOT). Even though I can understand the language perfectly its still hard for me to form sentences and to express what I want to say 💀but anyway its crazy to me how im able to speak 2 languages..sometimes I forget how hard it is for other people to learn a new language.

imo I think for someone to level up to the Army level instead of baby Army, they have to actually listen to all of BTS' discography and know their story and their personalities (hardcore Army is when you've watched everything related to BTS and you're basically too deep into the rabbit hole, you become a professional BTS stan)

I speak fluent English, Spanish, Gaelic, and a hint of the Korean language now that I've had a reason to learn the language. I'd say Spanish was the easiest one for me to learn. If I hadn't been born in America, where English is one of the predominant languages, I feel like it would have been among the hardest to learn. The fact that English seems easy is because people have grown used to speaking it on a daily basis.

We've got the Romance languages, some Norse roots, some Latin roots, some Germanic roots, among a plethora of other languages, because when you think of it, the English people have always been about domination. If they conquer a part of the world, they adapt to the language spoken and make it their own. Take the fact that Autumn and Fall are both words that explain the same season. The word "Autumn" is derived from the Latin "Autumnus." Americans tend to use the word "Fall," because, well, as some people have so eloquently pointed out: "Leaf fall down."
