Try get a bike light like Gaciron V9C 800. Quite cheap compared to Cateye or those 800 lumens lights. It has a remote switch so you don’t have to lift your hands to switch on/off or toggle the modes. Also get a small mirror to see your rear (blind spot). Stay safe.
Salamat po sa tips. 53 years na ko now pa lang mag aaral magbike. Now lang kc nahilig sa bike dahil sa new normal transportation. Pero gusto ko sana kick scooter gamitin. Dahil sa hindi pa marunong magbalanse, kc natutumba pa ko sa scooter, bike lang muna pag aaralan ko.

@@selahla Dont buy a lot muna at first kasi baka bumili ka lang ulit when youre more familiar na. The necessary ones when starting are helmet (spyder pala ung suot ko dito, naalala ko lang, spyder is also a good brand), front and rear blinkers, bell. Take care on the road! Dont get discouraged pag may maeexperience ka talagang not so good on the road, pero mas madami pa ding good experiences.
Saan po magandang bumili ng electric or folding bike? Any recommendations for the 1st bike, should a person go for a road bike, folding bike, or electric bike?
Instead of parking on streets which make the city look so messy, ulti story car parks should be built, so as to save space and leave the streets with less clutter

I knew how to bike since I was young but never had the courage to bike to work. Nakakatakot kasi. Cut throat talaga sa manila roads. Yeah nakakatakot, I used to psych myself every time Im gonna bike - to always always give way, even if its my right of way and to always apologize (so I don't get triggered accidentally when someone is on the wrong and yet they are being aggressive towards me.) Now I am not as scared, but the habit has stuck a bit.

Oks na muna yan, basta alam mo ruta mo. It helps kung alam mo san may bike shop sa ruta mo in case masiraan ka para alam mo san dederecho for help. And have people in your phone na you can call for help if anything happens, if need mo sundo or what. Take care!!!

Until now takot pa din ako sa hiway, esp dati i stay away from hi way if possible, kahit na mapalayo ung way. It helped na nagpapasabay ako nung first month ko and na maaga ko lagi so i give way ALL the time before.

I think mga 30 mins to 1hr lang napapatakbo ko na ung bike pero gewang gewang and di straight. Pero it took me a lot of separate days of practice sa safe space before i tried on outside roads (di pa ko marunong magshift ng gears at magbrake ng maayos), tapos may kasabay at first. Sinubukan ko magisa, nahagip ako ng jeep :( so after nun mga 1 month ako nagpapahatid sundo sa officemate ko na nagbabike din. And until now im still not so confident on slopes, near the gutter, in between cars, etc so i decide pa din to walk, not singit, etc if tingin ko di ko kaya.

Abot one way, baka palowbat na half way for pabalik yung battery. If youre willing to pedal with no assitance pabalik, oks pa yan or charge pagdating sa office para pedal assisted both ways. Baka lang strenous masyado for a daily workout yun. Consider getting a scooter na lang if daily trip is like that, ung tvs xl 100 na scooter is almost same price nito

Yup oks ipadyak, super dali if less than 50km and naka bukas yung battery. I tried biking ulit na walang battery lately, napapagod and pinapawisan na ulit ako. Pag gamit ko battery, easy mode e. Yung vlog ko na wawa dam ride ito ung bike na gamit ko pero walang battery. Yung vlog ko na mnl to tarlac, ito din gamit ko pero mabigat kasi dala ko battery pero mga after 70km ko pa ginamit kasi 30 to 40ish km (in one charging) lang kaya ng battery if mabigat ung dala.

Mine is medium coz it was hard to find an entry level bike that is xs. When i bought a bike i really didnt care much coz i was just gonna learn it to be able to ride a motorcycle (lol that was my thinking back then 😂) im 5 2, i cant stand comfortably and on flat foot in my bike now, but i got used to it already. But i think the higher end brands have xs size like Liv, Trek, Giant, Bianche, Merida. Try asking as well in Tropang Women Bikers FB page, other ladies might know more than we do and can relate better to you than i do right now.

I learned motorcycle first then bicycle at 33. I didnt give shit when i practiced in our hood. Everybody starts somewhere... Even practiced bigbike.

Ride responsibly! Give way muna always coz your reflex might not be fast enough pa para umiwas, sumingit, or what. Ingat!

That price is ok n, pde n mag home credit sa LJ bike shop, may Trinx X1 ebike dun. Basta may proper maintenance bike m, tatagal ang durability
Wowww!!! Nainspire akong mag aral magbike. Same tayo ng reason kung bakit gusto ko na rin magbike lalo ngayong naka quarantine. Ask ko lang... Gaano ka katagal bago natuto magbike?
I think mga 30 mins to 1hr lang napapatakbo ko na ung bike pero gewang gewang and di straight. Pero it took me a lot of separate days of practice sa safe space before i tried on outside roads (di pa ko marunong magshift ng gears at magbrake ng maayos), tapos may kasabay at first. Sinubukan ko magisa, nahagip ako ng jeep :( so after nun mga 1 month ako nagpapahatid sundo sa officemate ko na nagbabike din. And until now im still not so confident on slopes, near the gutter, in between cars, etc so i decide pa din to walk, not singit, etc if tingin ko di ko kaya.

@@kathrynaguilar5181 yep.. pero makakatulong siguro if may magtutulak? Or nakabantay para pag tutumba, minsan kasi di immediate makakatayo agad pag parang tutumba. It helps if makakatayo sa bike ng maayos (meaning sakto ung frame size ng bike)

Try ko na mag bike to work next week.. kinakabahan ako kasi edsa dadaanan ko pero 4km lang naman layo ng bahay to work. Sana maging okay talaga hehe. First time ko magbike sa main road kasi
Ingat, pls give way kahit na right of way mo as long as it makes it safer for you and others around you. Kahit ikaw ung nasa tama, wag na ipilit kasi we cant control how others drive e. Safety first.

Pwede po kaya yan for 30km run? Bale 60km balikan plus medyo may mountain road ang dadaanan ko eh.
Abot one way, baka palowbat na half way for pabalik yung battery. If youre willing to pedal with no assitance pabalik, oks pa yan or charge pagdating sa office para pedal assisted both ways.
Baka lang strenous masyado for a daily workout yun. Consider getting a scooter na lang if daily trip is like that, ung tvs xl 100 na scooter is almost same price nito

Normally parking for bicycles is free, pero some establishments charge similar with motorcycle, maybe 20 to 40. Makati med i think is the most expensive ive heard since hourly rate... I hope theyve changed it tho.

None for now, pwede kasi tanggalin yung battery or ioff yung pedal assist mechanism nung trinx x1e and it becomes a regular mountain bike na. I used it last week sa wawa dam ride pero without the battery, mas mabigat lang slight

Yup, ginagamit ko kahit umuulan. Wag lang ata malubog sa tubig ung battery at motor.
Sa BNF bicycle center paranaque ko binili, pero meron din LJ bike shops, Skylarks bike shop cainta. Hanap po kayo sa FB ng near your location na bike shop.

Sidewalks and pavement in Manila and Philippines need improvement to make it easy for pedestrians and cyclists to move around easily . Look at Singapore and see how easy it is to travel around almost anywhere in Singapore, Using just a bicycle on pavement+ cycling path and foot path .

Yup oks ipadyak, super dali if less than 50km and naka bukas yung battery. I tried biking ulit na walang battery lately, napapagod and pinapawisan na ulit ako. Pag gamit ko battery, easy mode e.
Yung vlog ko na wawa dam ride ito ung bike na gamit ko pero walang battery. Yung vlog ko na mnl to tarlac, ito din gamit ko pero mabigat kasi dala ko battery pero mga after 70km ko pa ginamit kasi 30 to 40ish km (in one charging) lang kaya ng battery if mabigat ung dala.

Mine is medium coz it was hard to find an entry level bike that is xs. When i bought a bike i really didnt care much coz i was just gonna learn it to be able to ride a motorcycle (lol that was my thinking back then 😂) im 5 2, i cant stand comfortably and on flat foot in my bike now, but i got used to it already. But i think the higher end brands have xs size like Liv, Trek, Giant, Bianche, Merida. Try asking as well in Tropang Women Bikers FB page, other ladies might know more than we do and can relate better to you than i do right now.
