CHOOSE A NURSING SPECIALTY | Focus of nurses wanting every bar R171 & R174 nursing students

A little short and sweet video this week. In this weeks video I wanted us to discuss about the new nursing programs and how those students won’t be receiving three nursing bars as the R425 nursing program students. I do realise a lot of people are not happy about that change and as someone with the three bars, I sympathise. However, it’s also important for us not to loose sight of the purpose of having the bars and for us to focus on the specialty we want and bars later. Just my thoughts. Does a specialty in midwifery have a bar? Even though i will already have the 1 bar for R174? Like do i get an additional bar?

No you don’t need an extra bar. The bar your get with the R.174 program is the one

Is it also fine to do Assistant nursing 18 months course?
