Meanwhile, online play has such ridiculous delay that it's an entirely different game than offline play is. projectiles are insanely strong online, so much so that the meta is entirely different. Also, we AREN'T professionals, so it makes sense we might rage when losing online. Mostly, the rage is due to the fact that whatever strategy the opponent is using(usually projectile spam) would NEVER work offline, and that we'd beat their ass if the game was played properly.

I thought that last stock Sparg0 lost would cost him the set, especially when Tweek started matching the percents but Sparg0 showed character and managed to win. Sparg0 vs Tweek is now 2-2 on the set count. On the other hand, I think Tweek's Diddy is totally amazing and still has a lot of potential to keep growing.
Before anybody gives Tweek flack for being upset with how this turned out... think about how much was on the line for this. People who get the best results are people who really, really care about how well they perform. For Tweek, it was a last stock, last hit situation for a chance at playing in grands at a major- to face his rival, no less. It's easy to judge somebody for getting frustrated, but think about this: could you do what he's doing?
I would certanly not invest the time in the game to get to his level nor i believe i could get to his level even if i tried but one thing that tweek really needs to work on is his state of mind, many times when an upset happens he gets thrown off kinda easily and that have costed him many games against leo. He is a really good player but probably his biggest weakness is how fast he loses composure under pressure

It’s also worth considering that the first game in the set was lost largely due to a botched recovery and a bad banana pickup. He’s probably just really frustrated with himself. I know I would be. Little mistakes with big consequences.

Tweek didn't anticipate Sparg0's up-B off the ledge, and though he didn't quite die, Sparg0 changed to Mythra to dash across the stage in a second, then threw out the side-B just in time. Sparg0's SD on the previous stock made it close, but also showed how crazy confident and aggressive Sparg0 was playing. A classic set in a rivalry that's still been going strong this month (December 2022).

It was a big risk because that move has huge lag upon landing, but that's why you can't be stupid and completely disrespect Pyra's recovery despite it not being very good. The bottom line is Sparg0 out played Tweek, and Tweek didn't respect the options Pyra had available. Doesn't matter if you're playing Smash4 Bayo, or Brawl Puff, you have to respect the possible options your opponents characters do have.

I play pyra/mythra and I'm able to get that kind of cheese sometimes so I hope tweek doesn't let this get to him too much. Also, I saw that in game 5 when tweek dropped his advantage and let sparg0 escape from ledge he stopped using his movment and resorted to sheilding because he didn't want to play risky and spargo was able to run away with it. I just think he could've kept fishing and possibly reset neutral so he could get another chance to get a kill.
I don't think he's number 2 just yet, though. I think the next 3 stacked tourneys will solidify if Sparg0 is now for sure top 5 now, or if he's just been on a hot streak.

AWESOME MATCH! Maaan Mithra is highly overrated. Pyra is the real MVP of the character. Pyra could really run solo but Mithra is mearly a way to get to the main character, Pyra, faster Mithra loses to simple defensive mechanics. Parrying, blocking, rolling and spot dodging neutralizes most of her shenaningans She just needs to do a quick 40% and her job is done. Pyra's hitboxes and agility is friggen incredible. She doesnt have that straight-line speed but alot of her moves shift her hurtboxes and Pyra is like a better version of Lucina but with a pseudo projectile However i will say Mithra's vision is ver underrated. People really dont talk about how broken that thing is
