- Hello,
This video will show you how to create a basic Dynamo Sweep on three different curves (straight line, Three-point arc, and a NURBS curve).
In each video, I will explain the details and all other obstacles that might prevent you from achieving your goal.
I will also explain the idea of making custom node, to make a quick rectangle (polygon) on perpendicularly on the beginning of your curve, also demonstrating all other possibilities of the profile locating and orienting incorrectly on the path itself.
Finally, I will show you a complex helix with a polygon sweep along with it. There will be a couple of new nodes explained here in this video, here is a list:
1- Circle.ByPlaneRadius
2- CoordinateSystem.ByPlane
3- CoordianteSystem.ZAxis

You explain this stuff so much better than most. Thank you.
Thanks dear :)
This is really useful for modelling bridges
Thanks
great jobs.... ! keep posting
Thanks dear
Great as always
Many thanks dear
Great work!! Keep posting :)
Thanks dear, I will do my best to back to post every week as I was :)
Very nice video, thx!
welcome dear and happy to help anytime
Is it possible to use a revit profile family as the profile for a sweep
Yes
It's great !!!!!
Thanks
Good video
Thanks mate!!
Amazing
Thanks dear
Good, how can you place an irregular shape instead of a Rectangle/Polygon, say a star or an I shape
Thanks, you can use a plane perpendicular at the start point and move any shape to that plane, you can also define a point on the profile curve to hold the profile from any point and align it to the start of the path
Hello!
Can i get this scripts?
can you share the dyn file for lazy students please?
All good mate
Hi, did he share the dyn with you?
