Ravens were out disciplined. Looked like to me, the Ravens wanted to taunt and cheap shot their way to a victory...instead they just peed down their leg. They were a more talented team than the Chiefs...but the Chiefs were WAY more disciplined, there were two egregious hits on Mahomes that could have concussed him, or broken his legs...refs only called one of the two a penalty. Another play was when the Ravens tried to injury Chris Jones with a brutal leg whip, which occurred in their own end zone on Chris Jones...could have blown out his knee or broken his leg...no flag.
Zero respect for Harbaugh and his team today. I expected to see a hard fought game, with the Ravens likely coming out on top...instead I saw a bunch of sore losers try to injure the opponent's best players because they were unprepared and outcoached...since they couldn't beat them fair and square they tried to injure them. absolutely classless - and I hope they are fined heavily for that juvenile nonsense. NFL Needs to fine the head coach, the D Coordinator and about 6 players on the Ravens squad. Classless losers.

In response to the original poster, have you ever seen on tv at the ravens stadium they have posters that say "Play like a Raven." That play that you described is the Raven way. Always has been. I don't know why the media has never picked this up. They have always aimed to take out the best player on the other team, especially during the big games. The 2000 Ravens would have never even made it to the super bowl but in the AFC Championship game that year, they set out to injure Rich Gannon and indeed they did. Tony Siragusa sacked Gannon and appeared to obviously set out to injure his arm and indeed broke it. The Raiders offense that year was amazing, but not after Gannon was knocked out of the game. Siragusa was playing like a Raven.

Mahomes didn't do any stupid plays to make it harder for the team. The WRs who were much maligned earlier in the regular season stepped up. Their defense had done their job well in the playoffs.
This season was the best the Ravens have ever looked in more than 10 years. The Chiefs, Bengals, Bills weren't like they used to be in recent years past. Over in the NFC the Eagles weren't the monsters of last season and the 49ers they crushed only a few weeks ago in San Fran. With how good the Ravens were looking, this was the best chances they had at another championship. Lost golden opportunities.

Don't get pissed off...just get better. I for one can tell you though....I don't see you all getting it done in Baltimore with your current offense, including your QB. ESPN and Fox have gone out of their way to prop him up time after time...but he just simple fails to deliver. We in KC know how you feel...we had our own version of that in Alex Smith. Isn't it the RAVEN'S HC faullt who sat by and allowed the OC not run ball which the RAVENS are good at-

Yea, the play-calling was horrendous by the Ravens. Even the passing plays were all designed to go deep, instead of taking the easy over the middle routs that the Chiefs were leaving open every time they blitzed. Disgraceful coaching by the Ravens across the board!

I wish Raven fans would realize that Gus just ain't that good. He was good under Roman but the man does not know how to cut. IF he gets into the 2nd level he'll get about 5 or more but don't expect him to find the hole.

Todd Monken really became Greg Roman, as a Ravens fan you hate to see it.

Disagree with Roquan's personal foul. If it was just a normal offside Andy Reid would have just declined the penalty. You have to prioritize getting the ball back more than worrying about where the ball will be placed.

Reid could only decline the penalty if the refs let the play continue rather than blowing it dead- and they’ll always blow it dead if the defender makes contact before the ball is snapped (or if they judge the defender to have an “unabated” path to the quarterback). So all Roquan had to do to give up only the five yards was to reach across and tap the guard.

Even if Reid declines it, there is no harm... basically it's an attempt to time the snap without any negative consequence... UNLESS you commit a personal foul by over-doing it, which he did.

Looks like a change in the rules after this one.
