Recently discovered cash based PT and I’m very intrigued by it. As a pre-pt, I’m grateful for all of your insights as it helps me take a lot of things into consideration for the years to come 💪🏽

What I have learned over my career is none of the certifications matter. It is the knowledge that does. None of your patients will know what any of those letters after your name mean, and none of them care. I've had patients who didn't know what the DPT mean at the end of mine. They just want to trust you will make them feel better and be able to comfortably do the things they want to do. With that said, the certifications don't matter. Meaning, if you can get the knowledge without the certification, you can do that; which is why a big point in this video is surroundings yourself with like minded PT's because it allows you to learn from them.
