the bouncers in this game are such chaos. either they beat the level for you in the most "clip that" way possible or they bash you backwards and call you swear words you didnt even know existed
This game feels so, like. Foreign to me. Like this feels like a game aliens would make based on what they think earth is like. The sound design, strange choice of creatures and weapons, and the abstract stages and backgrounds just add so much to it. I love it.

no worries friend! one other little thing I noticed is that when the game presents you with your 3 items at the beginning of the level, the third item doesn't do that little slight rotation animation the other two do... idk if that was intentional or not just thought I'd report it just in case.

It makes sense because grenades used to look similar to pomegranates and also had a tendency of "flinging seeds" when "opened". Most Latin and Latin-Influenced languages usually specify the fruit kind of grenade by adding the word apple or fruit to it somewhere, which is were we get "pomme-grenade", and therefore pomegranate in English. Reminder that not everything has to be super polished nor have a bombastic finish

I wanted to play this game before watching the video, and it's so funny watching different playthroughs. Truly every level has a new solution cause of the randomness and you ended up doing some weird shenanigans that I didn't end up doing.
This looks _awesome._ And I just realized why it might be called a hostile take, the emphasis on randomgen means that, as the game itself says, sometimes you're just screwed. A normal immersive sim always has at least one solution built-in. In simple terms, an immersive sim gives you a problem and a toolbox to solve it. Like, imagine if Half-Life 2 but you get all the GMod tools to achieve the goal however you like
that was certainly an experience it always feels nice to come up with a unique or outlandish solution and finding more and more ways to break a game with it

i havent seen anybody else say this but the visuals of this game seem to be inspired greatly from GoNNER, with the character design, restricted aiming, and the fact that your head dictates ur abilities. gameplay wise theyre very different tho, GoNNER is more of a procedurally generated shooter tho. i definitely recommend it if ur a fan of the aesthetic but also more fast-paced games
