just had to come back and mention one more thing xx - only because when we see gel plating we never see you guys remove or put back on the plastic protection sheets - when i put mine back on i slightly bend it in the center and let the center touch the plate and then push down the ends so that it makes a good contact and leaves NO air bubbles - believe it or not if the plate is stored with air bubbles they can leave indentations in the plate - ok thats it lol - bye
perfect Becky !!! the only thing i am going to add is to make sure both plastic protectors - on both sides - are clean as well - if you have dried lumps and bumps left on it - that could damage the surface of your plate - (( if it is kept stored with lumps and bumps it may cause indentations )) see you at 4 xx
Becky already knows this, but I did find some mineral oil around here and though I have not cleaned my plate yet, I did put some on my plate and it sat over night. I liked that you used baby wipes to clean -- after I do the washi tape pull (at end of my entire plate session proba ly next week i will give my plate a good clean and conditioning) thanks for the information Becky
and for Meri - i don't think any type of a "food" based oil would be good - those types of oil could become rancid and ruin the plate - baby oil, mineral oil/spirits would be best : )
Thank you Becky ! Just got my baby oil!
Looking forward to the next video.
Good evening 👋😊 Aunt Becky thank you for sharing this information about geli plates stay safe and be careful 🙏🖌️✍️🎨💌🌹👋☺️
Thank you Becky! I have a gelli plate but I haven't used it yet. I didn't know they had to be conditioned so your video is super helpful!!! 💖💖💖
Mina, you don't have to condition it until after it's been used a lot
I didn't condition mine. I use packing tape to clean it off.
