(MOTHERS DAY 2020) Super Smash Bros. Ultimate X Mother: Cognitive Dissonance - MEGALOVANIA (Fanmade)

As is practically tradition at this point, another CogDis MEGALOVANIA remix for Mothers Day but this time in a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate style. I tried to make it Techno/Orchestral/Rock(?) instead of sticking to the sort of pseudo-SNES style of my other MEGALOVANIA remixes, which used lots of Earthbound samples. I tried to do the opposite of what Toby Fox did for the Smash Bros. Megalovania, instead of making it sound like something I obviously made I tried to instead make my mindset "how would this sound if Nintendo made Cognitive Dissonance?" Putting myself in that position made this come out very different than my usual style, using almost entirely real orchestral samples and synths instead of soundfonts.
I actually started this around the time sans was added to Smash, I just never finished it.
This one barely got out on time and could of been better IMO.

Maaan! My favorite part in Megalovania is this 1:33 . And out of all versions I've heard, this has to be my favorite. Just carries a lot of weight and dread and it's just spooky as it should be! Gives me the chills!

This is incredible! The choice of synths is dang near perfect, and changing where the siren comes in was surprising and awesome! I also really like the change in chord progressions, as it gives the song a more...sad feel? The only gripe I have is the orchestral instruments, as I think their attack is too low and there is a little too much reverb, losing out on the aggression the synths already convey. This is an incredible remix, and I'm glad to see you back once again!

Oh, this is excellent! Love the adjusted siren bit-- in the original that's meant more for the whole Mothership escape sequence, but in this, it being misplaced feels a LOT more suitable for the Paradox finale. The synths are great, and like Ben Roa below said, there's definitely a sad feeling (that's, again, perfect for Paradox). I love seeing the CogDis soundtrack given more tlc, and you really did it justice!
Also, I would die for an extended version of this, not going to lie.
