Seamtracking demo - WeCobot

TAST, Trough Arc Seam Tracking by WeCobot and ‪@FroniusWelding‬ #TPS500i #Perfectwelding machine. Adjusting the weld path of the #cobot during #welding without additional sensors. By measuring the Arc stickout lengt, in combintion of a weaving pattern the robot position is adjusted during welding for perfect quality welds.

The professional experienced demonstrator will shift the part in the opposite direction, dry run it again visually showing the amount of offset and then welding it. The cheat in this is that the start position is not moved only the end point which in real production it may be both and the question then is if the start is out of position, if not using a touch sense procedure to determine correct start position then how fast does the through arc seam tracking shift it into the correct seam position.
