I can tell that you are not an ironworker. 50 years for me , and I've built my share of Manitowocs . He'll, it was a long time before we ever saw an erector. IWs put cranes together in my day .
Europe and China stole alot of our ideas....Manitowoc Grove best company. Parts and service owner friendly. Older rigs easy to service. No electronics to fail. I ran older friction rigs bit never saw this idea. Shalom
4100 S2 had car body counter weights too .

The 4100SII is the counter weight when it runs the extender.
