Costner has made wise choices in his casting, not just in the ability but Casting many foreign born actors adds to the sense of what the American West must have felt like. One of the many choices that makes this a fantastic and important series of films. ❤ Thanks for the great interview 👍

As a sister of my church, I experienced a task which was put to me, I had to envision being a pioneer travelling to Salt Lake to build a city, we were ałłowed an amount of cash and a wagon, from that we women had to purchse provisions to support our journey, so altho I didnʼt actually experience the journey, I was obliged to imagine that I had.
I threw myself into the experience, so I do know to an extent how things were from a pioneers point of view.
I also understand that there are many dialects incorporated into the native American Languages. All honour to Kevin Costner an absolute Darling of a man ❤

Amazing cast, all selected by Mr. Kevin, the genius and America’s top Public Relations Director. Mr. Costner has been gifted by God above to have the talents to multitask! So much Western American History is taught in this movie.Students all over our country could benefit from watching these movies. We all have read history of the west but here in this one , we are taught the way it was back then. ❤

When I was 11 years old I met and admired Martin King Jnr. a traditional Native American indian at a boy scouts meeting in Sutton Park, Sutton Cołdfield , England, where I live,Martin wore his beautiful headress, he was about 19-20 years old , spoke to my Dad and me for ages, Martin was Canadian, I have łoved and admired the native American inginous way of life and their story since that time, Kevin told that story so well in Dances with Wolves, which is where I first got to know Bout Kevin Costner, so when Kevin turned up in Yellowstone, I was imediatjy smitten with him, have been ever since. ❤

Kevin is an amazing man, the original ʼpioneerʼ were mormans, travelling to Salt Lake, and yes women needed a male sponser, so men took several, sister wives situation was concieved, times have changed a little since those days, Willie Nelson, knows all about thaat stuff, may God Bless him, and all you actors who help Kevin tell his wonderful stories

Love when Kevin prefaces to say the Native people were here and thriving before Europeans came here to destroy their lives.

It's a massive simplification. They raped murdered and enslaved one another way before whites showed up.
No one is saying that Europeans didn't bring bad things to all natives. However, to act like it was this peaceful utopia is just naive.

Horizon - VERY Disappointing! - A movie plot is the central storyline that guides an audience through the film’s events and character developments. The sequence of actions, conflicts, and resolutions creates the narrative structure and propels the story forward, ultimately delivering a cohesive and engaging cinematic experience. This film experience highly lacked engaging relatability and realty.
    THE GOOD:
The best plots, in any movie, are driven by characters making tough decisions to achieve a goal, all while overcoming obstacle after obstacle to get there.- There were 3 different plots and some sub-plots yet each plot was limited on storyline and just thrust on the audience, without build up. The boy and his struggle with his parents killed by indians was good and believable, other outstanding moments were, Luke Wilson played a wagon train forman, was believable and relatable. The scenery of Utah and Wyoming were nice and some of the indian character performances were deep and relatable-
    THE BAD:
It was SO staged, every time there is someone talking to another person there are 6 to 14 people just standing behind them in chorus rows just SILENTLY STANDING, waiting extras. HELL ONE scene, the WHOLE TOWN is just standing there!! HELLO?!! Kevin, this is the wild west, people were busy from sun up to sun down WORKING - not standing around like cardboard cut outs.-BASICALLY EVERY SCENE - except the indian attacks - so, was not believable. Also, the scene where the girl had to identify her dead parents from the indian attack and walks along the wagon with every dead body, boots sticking out - having BRAND NEW STUDIO boots on was ridiculous!! - Kevin, audience can SEE this, so fire the costume designer, or update them in the dailies, most people in REALITY were poor in the Wild West, and did not have brand new clothes FROM THE STUDIO!! There are 3 different plots that dont intermingle, OK, but the character development and motivation was not developed so, the empathetic relation between audience and character was lacking, making you not care for anyone or their resolutions.
    THE UGLY:
Anyway, its just another netflix serious - NOT a Major Motion Western, like "True Grit" , but Danny Huston, must have kissed Kevins ass, when they were together on Yellowstone, because he cant act in this. Sorry folks, I wanted a good Western too but I give it a boring C+ and I watched it 3x to make sure!
