Honestly the people crying about how this dress is not affordable just feels so entitled to me. As if it's some basic necessity like groceries or electricity. This is not something that you need, is some thing that you want, and if you want it, you owe it to the designers, patternmakers, seamstresses, product managers and developers, marketers and every other single person who worked on it to pay what their labor is worth.

Hey! I just had it on the longest stitch lengths possible! 7 and 5 om my machine. However i had to hand gather more afterwards since gathers weren't dense enough.. good luck!
