Well, yes he’s very nice as Sundrop but he’s very overbearing when it comes to actual social interaction, he still doesn’t seem to get social cues despite being an obviously very sophisticated AI

By far the best things I have ever seen in years in fnaf. the design of these two characters is unmatched. Like seriously the way moondrop moves is the stuff out of nightmares.

I think the main reason that sundrop is more dull colored and pupil-less in the other two animations is that since the game mostly takes place at night it's colder in pizza place so Sundrop has only partly transitioned to Moondrop

That really helped me to understand their body flexibility and movements. Now I'm able to draw them correctly
I imagine there is a time system in the game so that when it's daytime, he is friendly and helpful, but when it's nighttime, he gets hostile and deadly

I dunno why people are asking how the fabric or colour changes when the lights go out. But here's the answer:
Sunnydrop turning into Moondrop is part of Glitchtrap's glitch making the daycare attendant go feral.
What if there was a daylight sensor planted on him somewhere, and when it senses that it's dark it'll react, like how that one doll, I think a Barbie, can change its colour once touching water?

They're the same animatronic, but no one questions the change in colors on metal or the change in patterns on their fabrics? Is there some person that just dresses them up or do they change outfits like they show off their sun fins?
Ig it can be different here since it's AR so there's a lot more room for individual creativity, i need to look back on the trailer to see their official outfit and see if it changes or if it fits both palettes.
I feel like it's a "flip inside out" scenario, like those squid plushies that have a different expression or color whenever you flip it? - hopefully that makes sense.
@@strawberry1169 Most likely, pretty impressive design if so, they have human-like personalities and can interact without scripts so it isn't too far-fetched

I like to think that Moons existence is designed as literal security, basically after Vanessa leaves she would power down the last area in the Megaplex and Aka the daycare before she leaves leading to moon basically to traverse the entire building while the other animatronics stay safe hidden away in their rooms.

We see Moondrop incapacitate Freddy as a security measure after he's accused of helping Gregory. So it would fit if he was able to protect the Megaplex, and or protecting the toddlers/small children if their is an emergency situation
Is it just me, or do the first two designs look adorable.
I love the detail with the sounds and textures, the bells are such a nice little touch with the sound.

The fact that more wasn't done with Sun and Moon is a crime. EASILY a character with major potential in Security Breach just like Music Man (glad he was in it tho). But they keep trying to push Monty onto us #basura

DUDE THIS IS SO COOL and this sun just jumped when he was turning on
easily the best character design by far, no debate.
This is so cool. I love how the designs are based on characters from folk tales or fables as bedtime stories for kids. In a way its kind of based on how despite it being read to kids, bed time stories are actually terrifying. I mean I assume that's what inspired the design here. I also like how they both resemble jesters. The moons behavior also resembles a portral of a cartoon character quietly sneaking. And the sun resembles a fun and lively jester while also being quiet at the same time.
Yeah, I also love how they’re ball jointed! Instead of the giant, robotic bulkiness that the other animatronics have, Sun and Moon feel very doll-like, plus they remind me of contortionists and that’s a whole other level of spooky.

i love animatronics like that, this animatronic has two side’s in one body. it’s nothing normal about it, it’s actually scary and horrid. but at the same time is perfectly fine.

I heard somewhere that the reason Sunnydrop/Sunrise has bells on his wrists is because it helps blind children find him by listening to the jingles.
These don’t feel real, especially since the spinning sound in Sunnydrop is the same as a door sound from SCP Containment Breach. Still, it doesn’t changed there overall quality though
