DOTE, and Overlord by extension, has always held a special place in my heart as a player, so he is the one I am building from this set. The first deck I ever truly built was DOTE back in og set 5 and played him all the way till I had to leave the game mid G era before returning for beginning of V (moving from og, to breakride DO, to the revival legion with the X), I built DOTE in V-EB07 and played the revival legion in Premium again (and added the X's V version to both when he came out in V-BT08). I will happily continue to play him loyally in standard too, even if he isn't the best deck. Outside of DOTE and his support though, I do need to pick up a nemain for premium PBO.
I need your wisdom Different Fight! I play on Vanguard Zero on smartphone but I really want to buy a couple starter decks to get me and my brother to check the actual physical card game out (we mostly play Yu-Gi-Oh but I've been interested in Vanguard for a long time now). The Tohya Apex Ruler (released 2021) looks like an awesome place to start for Royal Paladin type of clan but what starter can I buy for Shadow Paladin builds? The oldest Shadow Paladin starter looks like Ren's released back in 2018. Is that structure deck even viable or would I need to buy individual cards and create a Luard deck? Looks like a new set with Shadows is releasing June 24 2022? I've no clear idea where to start to buy and build our decks with. Thank you!
I know this set was not very meta warping, but it is the set that got me excited to play standard. I played standard in set 1 format, but fell off before set 2 due to people at my locals mostly only playing V format. I just find the decks in this set very cool and full of potential.
I bought Rorowa, Fox Lady, and a royal split. But from royal spilt i only plan on playing blaster and thegrea. I also might build the dark states guy to goof off with
I picked up a sneak peak kit from my locals today, and later I’m going to open it with my friend who got me into Vanguard. I’m looking to build MLB and PBO!
When this set got spoiled months ago, I built a g3 MLB a while ago and just sat on it. Finally sleeved it up a couple days ago and played it yesterday. It's not the best, but it can pop off so hard. Really flexed my deck building muscles especially since I've only been playing vanguard against humans since oD came out.
I'm really hype for MLB and Tamayura, and the Aichi fan in me is definitely praying to get lucky and pull either the 10th SP MLB or the 10th SEC Blaster Blade ... but I know that's not likely to happen (without getting a whole case 😅) so I'm willing to settle for pulling either of them in 10th RRR or an SP Tamayura out of the 5 boxes I preordered and get the rest as singles once prices go down ... if they go down. *prays for prices to come down*
Safe to say that MLB is priority #1 for me. I definitely want the PBO and DOTE stuff as well but it'll depend on price and how much I have left 😅 My wallet will be on fire this month 🔥😓
My friend and I got ourselves one display, and we got tamayura and rorowa in rrr and in sp. I was a little sad since i wanted tamayura more but oh well xD and i got one copy of overlord which made me very happy. I will definitely finish tamayura
The product has been out for a while in Japan, so initial demand has waned. You can get set 2 for cheap on TCGplayer because people don't really want to open those. I got a case of this to get decks ready on time (and actually just thought of a build with a place for the resist g2 in Hexaorb), but I'm assuming card prices will drop in a bit. I'm hoping SPs become fairly affordable, but because there will just be fewer out there, I don't think they'll go as low as I want. Got a bunch of SP PBD stuff when it first came out and really want to boost rarity of the newer stuff.
