Far Cry 5 arcade was the best feature from a video game ever! The developers even went to the trouble of creating a really nice theme song for the game!
One of the very best. I still hop on and meet up with my friend for a helicopter ride to that mountain lake with great fishing and hunting. We are both 50.
Excellent and well-phrased analysis! I fully agree with everything you said. FC5 was SO GOOD. I'm about to go replay it again. I enjoyed New Dawn quite a bit. FC6 was a huge bloated disappointment. It just didn't feel like a Far Cry game. My favourite part of any Far Cry game is to carefully wander around the exterior of a base, marking enemies, and then planning how to attack it stealthily. When I tried that in FC6, enemies just kept respawning so I couldn't clear the base. It really took a lot of the enjoyment out of the game for me. The minute I finished the game, I pulled the disc out of my PS5 and tossed it in the stack of games to be traded in. I've kept all the other Far Cry games so I could play them again (and I've bought FC3 twice now!). With FC6, it left such a bad taste in my mouth, I didn't even consider buying the DLC. (I've bought all the DLC for all the other games.) The only thing I'd add to what you said about FC6 is how good the music was. Driving around listening to the Peggie radio station really made it feel like a cult was trying to indoctrinate you. I have the soundtrack in my music collection, and every time it comes up on shuffle, I think to myself "I've got to play FC5 again!"
Far Cry 5 my favorite story and setting!! but them removing Knife takedowns was a massive L, thank god for mods!! but i finally decided too try Far Cry 6 recently and honestly its so much better than everyone said it is!! 30hrs in and im having a blast!! Plus the Takedown animations are on point!!
Far cry 5 had melee weapons takedowns and you could do sidearm takedown with literally any silenced pistol which is literally the best in the whole series.
@@bhabhutiji1169 the takedowns in 5 were fine for what they where! but edged weapon takedowns i.e machetes/knives had been a staple of the series from the begining and not even having them as an option was an L to me!
@@blansbelausgsbaka yea i can see that, i do like the whole incursion system though, how the FND Forces can take back checkpoints/outposts etc, but its very much 'rinse&repeat' content! but thats the same with all far cry game imo!
I agree on takedowns... But i liked the showel/melee weapon takedown in 5 cause they were super fast for stealth. Unarmed takedowns were a bit lame. About fc6... I'm not a huge fan but I've had some fun with it.. And they added ng+
YES! Very good video about one of my favorite games. I sometimes hate what some newer games do, when I just want to play the game. I don't want to get the tea leaves and see the cleric, I don't want to gather 700 parts and learn the skill to make my own suppressors, I just want to play the game. FC5 knew when to get out of the way and let us have fun.
My favorite fc game ever. I think I found this game because of you my first Ubisoft game was watch dogs 2 and I discovered your channel through it. After that I became a fan of Ubisoft
I played the fire out of FC4, Pagan Min is definitely one of my favorite villains. FC5...i liked it, but not as much as fc4. FC6 is aight...hopefully FC7 does well
I'll agree with your intro opinion. Fc5 is good and could easily have been the best fc game if not for those stupid kidnappings. Still.. I loved the simpler approach.. No rpg system, no tiers.. No bullet sponges. Then ND came and fc6 kept some of those bullshit New Dawn's rpg systems. I hope they will go back to fc4-5 style of gameplay with the next game. On another note.. Fc5 also has the best replayability.. The resistance mod is amazing, arcade mode is great and it has ng+

Honestly far cry 6 is pretty dang fun but after finishing the story the endgame content and replayability is just not good imo.

FC5 is my favourite game of all time. Mainly due to the excellent storyline and arcade map creation.
FarCry 5 had better SMG/AR/Sniper collections
Although FarCry 6 did not have those (Their casually for unlockables)
