Today i am showing you a pair of 9" = 22 cm field coil speaker , made by Graetz in the 1939 .
These drivers were used in the most expensive radios at that time and need 100-120 Volt DC with around 100 mA Amperage for the field.
The Graetz field coil speaker 1939 have light paper cones and a " Klangverteiler " - a wizzer for the high tones.
The Graetz field coil speaker 1939 are build as full range driver and are perfect for Jazz , Piano, opera, speech or violin trio.
very natural and clear sounding .
Mounted in open baffles these speaker allow audiophile music feeling.
    no additional tweeter necessary .
    Enjoy !

      Hey Carsten,
Thank you for your comment. These Graetz loudspeakers demonstrate the state of the art understanding of sound reproduction from 1939. What was special at the time was the internal tweeter cone, which was intended to reproduce the high frequencies (speech and overtones in general) in the best possible way and in detail. That's why the design was chosen that way.
