I believe you mentioned you have/may at times carry a portable genny if you want to run the air con while on the hook. Probably one of those ubiquitous Honda EU2200 inverter gennys. Could you let me know what capacity genny you need aboard to support your A/C unit, what the BTU rating of your unit is, and is it enough for the Gold Coast and your 895? Hi, we do have a genny but we don't have AC. So I can't really answer your question. You are correct we have a 2000W genny, (not a honda but a cheap knock off). We've had it for years and it keeps going. We do have fans on board and last summer wasn't a problem.
