    Watching the girls talk just reminds me how wonderful it is that their birth families have the opportunity to watch them grow up. I can't imagine the ache, but they're so lucky to be able to see them with just 1 click, whenever their hearts need it. These girls are being raised with so much love. ♡

    Crocs can shrink or melt in the sun/ heat. You should not leave them out in the sun. Fun fact though, Crocs have a life time warranty. They will replace them no matter what. I found this out when the same thing happened to my Crocs.

      I didn’t know crocs have a life time warranty and I had no idea until watching Phillip boiling his that that they sun would even go out of shape like that because I’ve got maybe about 7 pairs of them as I have extremely flat feet and find them just so easy to wear they are the best shoe ever I think anyway

    I'm so sorry that people would even think to ask you about bringing life into the world! Cassidy is such a true blessing and how sad the world would be without her in it! Every life is a gift, and honestly I've yet to meet a parent say that if they could go back in time, that they would choose not to have their sick, or disabled child. They all say that they would do it again! God bless your beautiful family and marriage always!

      Actually I wouldn’t have knowingly brought my son into the world had I know about his disability before. Not because of me. But for him. The struggles he has to go through are not nice or fair. Why should a child have to suffer for the parents wants? The ideal situation when having w child is a healthy child. No one asks for a disabled child normally. But having a baby knowing you have a genetic disability is not my idea of being fair to a child. Imagine what their poor baby had to go through. They had two children already. Health happy children. My son is everything to me. But I wish he didn’t have to go through the struggles he does. And if that means he was never born I would never have known him anyway.

      obviously if you ask a parent now that they see their child in front of them and they love that person, they are not going to say; oh yes I would abort that human. Noooooooooo. but she is consciously making that fetus into the world just because. There is no person yet, they are willing to make a human and pay money to make that human being with a defect just because they want to grow their family.

    I had a syndrome from bith leading me to have many many surgeries throughout my school years last being when I was 18. If my mom had a choice I would have hoped she would also choose to have me and go through it all over again. My issues made me, and I 100% believe it's due to God giving me this that made me a more compassionate and loving individual. Thank you for giving your children a chance in life.

    Oh my heart! It can’t take the cuteness of Kinsley and Callie at the end telling us how to search for little house on the Prairie!
    Your hearts must just overflow with love and burst with pride when your girls try to educate others about their favourite programs to watch!!
    They are both really intelligent, super sweet and caring. All 3 of your girls are just wonderful kids, I’m not surprised that you want to add another sweet baby into your family.
    I just love how Kinsley and Callie both love on their baby sister. All 3 have such a beautiful bond.

    Knowing that I'm a carrier of the cystic fibrosis gene, I had my husband take a genetic test. With that particular condition, if both parents are carriers of the gene, there's a 25% chance of having a child with the condition and a 50% chance of passing along 1 gene (meaning any of their biological children could be at risk). For us personally, that was too big of a risk to take since CF has no cure. My husband is not a carrier, but if he had been, we likely would be going the adoption route instead of trying for a biological child when the time is right. Those conversations can be so tough; I'm 100% in support of couples deciding which option is right for them--whether to have biological children or go straight to adoption--based on their carrier status.

    • @Jody-Stubbs

    • @ladyp5828
      @ladyp5828 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Being a carrier means you can also pass it down so your child is a carrier. I personally wouldn’t have a child under those circumstances. I would pay for ivf where they test the egg to make sure it was healthy and not carrying anything. I’m glad you took precautions. It’s not fair to a child to be born suffering in my eyes. I think all parents should have to have genetic testing done before having a baby.

    • @queencelestyna
      @queencelestyna 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ladyp5828 I only have one copy of the gene which means I only have a 50% chance of passing it on. Since there are no real side effects of having one copy, I'm ok with it. IVF is incredibly expensive with no guarantee of working, and there's also the morality of having the embryos. I think each family should make their own informed choice. I won't judge Phil and Alex if they continue with their embryos knowing that they could have another baby with a cardiac condition so I hope we can all have grace for each other and our own decisions.

    • @queencelestyna
      @queencelestyna 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's funny how Callie looks so much Alex not just in eye and hair colors, but in her expressions. Makes me curious if certain expressions are learned or what shapes those subtle things. We'd love to try getting a few hours together, but our youngest daughter (14yrs old) takes 24hr care due to her special needs, ASD, severe ADHD, GDD, and ODD. We just dont have a support system of any kind. My family has all but disassociated themselves the older she gets because she gets worse. Alex, you're my hero!! Only any extra cost will have to be taken care of.And when I was 12 weeks in to my pregnancy I had to go through the surgery to remove my appendix. That cost me nothing. The bill was around 1500 pounds, 230,000¥ but it was refunded in a month.

      I was born in 1946 in England just before the NHS (National Health Service) came about, introduced by the Labour Government in 1948. I have lived my whole life being supported by this brilliant healthcare system. I am 75 next week. I worked in the NHS for years and everyone who works in the UK does contribute to it via their salary/wages. I live in New Zealand now and the Public Health System here is nowhere near as good as the UK.

    I used to rearrange my room all the time as a kid too. It was so much fun. None of my friends ever did. My siblings would help me in the summer & it was so much fun.

    Love hearing the girls take on the Little House books and TV show. You might want to explain that Laura and her family are real people who lived a long time ago and that she wrote the books based off of her life and adventures.

    I have a son who was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, his grandfather (husbands side) had an ASD. My son had his repair in 1988. My son and his wife have 3 little boys, the first two had no heart defect, but the 3rd baby born June 6th was born with a serious defect that is similar to hypoplastic right heart. They knew at the 20 week ultrasound that the baby had this an an amniocentesis was done looking for Digeorge Syndrome, but that was negative. The baby has had one open heart surgery so far, and 3 cardiac caths. He hasn't been home yet, but we pray every day for his health. Would my son have done anything different going forward knowing he had a 3% chance of having a baby with a chance of a defect, no...he loves all his boys with all his heart. Blessings to you going forward, sending love too, things will work out.

    I was just diagnosed with PCOS in July even though I knew that I had it for the last two years because of one of your videos going over the symptoms. I am in the process of saving $4000 so I can do an IUI with a sperm donor. I have always wanted to be a mom and never realized how hard it would be to get there.

    carve out time for each other.

    My daughter has a rare genetic mutation (GABRG2) that was found by doing an Epilepsy Panel once she started having alot of seizures. It was then traced back to me and my dad. I had alot of guilt at first. But I didn't know I had it. But even if I did I wouldn't have changed anything.
    I prayed for her for almost 10 years. How can you not have such an amazing blessing from God. 💜

    It's so cute that Kinsley is a little obsessed with LHOTP!!! I learned to read really early (4) and when I was 7 my parents got me my first set of Hardcover Little House On The Prairie books set. I'm now almost 67 yrs old, and I still read LHOTP......love them. I've worn out 2 hardcover sets and a paperback set.
    Alex & Phil, if you are reading the comments, I'd love to send Kinsley and Callie my LHOTP Cookbook. It's a hardcover book with all the recipes that Laura talks about that Ma made for the family and a few of Almanzo's favorite recipes his mother made such as Apples & Onions and Cinamon Chicken.
    I'll send you an email to get permission to send the book to the girls. I'm sure this would be a great family thing to do, making recipes from the LHOTP cookbook.

There is also precious moments in Missouri and a great camping place outside of Carthage Missouri called the red barn! Precious moments is so wonderful! From someone who believes that life begins at fertilisation, that baby boy/girl is already alive! Their story is already written, God already knows the number of hairs that will grow on their tiny little head and has great plans for that precious child. Regardless of if their heart will have some issues or not, that baby deserves the chance to grow. There is no argument to the contrary. What a beautiful gift of life you are giving that child.

    I love Laura Ingalls! I have the set of her books and I read it to my boys when they were little ( p.s. they hated Laura) I read to them certain aspects of the Little House books (Christmas, Winter & Alphonso). Both my boys LOVED reading and I believe it helps with other areas of schooling!! Enjoy your movie girls! 🏠👧👱💖

    I agree with you Alex. I have albinism and because of my condition I am legally blind. I thank God that I was born because I have children and grandchildren.
    I know there are people who would not want to deal with a child with any disabilities but just because a child may appear perfect it doesn’t mean they are. No one is perfect.
    We are imperfect people who have imperfect children.

    You know what... I haven't watched " Little House on the Prairie" since I was a little girl.. And yes I'm going to start watching it again just because the girls recommend it!! 😊. Been here since the condo and all your struggles, remember commenting and saying I knew God would bless you with a a baby just to have faith and now I see Cassidy and can't believe how beautiful she is. How far she has come and how great God is to have blessed you and all of us with her precious soul 💗I love your beautiful family! 💕
