I remember having so much fun with this during WC 2014 and I was actually expecting the same, like a legitimate new game for WC 2018 with "the history of qualification", this my player mode and all the teams in the worlds and I was soooo disappointed man
Didn’t really play this one as much but loved the 2010 captain your country and was hoping they would’ve brought it back in 2018

Went back to this mode during the winter holidays when I got back home, because I left my ps4 where I currently live. Anyways playing with multiple ppl was so much fun, and they should definitely bring back a mode similar to this in fifa.
We must do something as a community to get this into the next fifa’s and forever progress.
Bford, you should do this for your be a pro. When you start a new one you should do the tryout animation + exibition matches and show that in the story, till about episode 4 when you get signed. Just a thought 😃

Man the nostalgia on this is mad looking back this is one of da most underrated series in da franchise. I started from 2010 i believe and from 2010 - 2014, those games was amazing, the different modes, captain your country x stories of qualifying were too sick. They ruined it with 2018 by makin it a dlc from fifa 18, they only included da 32 qualifying teams smh. They shoulda made dat its own game with da old format. In da next world cup game they gotta go back to makin its own game and not a dlc and include alll da nations again.
The nostalgia that game was so good I still play it when I go on holiday and my ps3 is their so I start a career up when I’m there and it’s so much fun. I also still play the 2010 version of it when I’m on holiday and I think it’s similar

The thing with implementing B teams to my player mode on fifa 20 would be the amount of work they would have to do to make a B team on top of every other first team in the leagues....

The countdown at the start was until the next world cup in 2022 because EA servers still update it however when you start the game it is 2014

How fifa should do it:
Start as a young player playing in the academy like u17 for your local country/club team then work your way up to like the b team etc where you progressly get scouts for example you start off at your local country of birth for this example we say USA... you get into the LA Galaxy U17 and as you do better scouts will be intrested if you want to go to Europe or other countries and such as that, where every single my player is different and not everyone has the same opportunities to have players repeat the process.
