@@DivingDucksCrochet I am trying this and for some reason I'm losing stitches as I do each row why ?????what am I missing snd I followed it stitch by stitch
Once upon a time I made an afghan like this in black, white and gray stripes. It's still on the back of my couch! I'm delighted to find your tutorial for this headband and I'm making it right now! It's so easy that I'm planning on making several in different colors. Thanks so much! 💕💕💕
Very good instructions. Slow enough for me to keep up. I’m going to make this. I make a lot of these but not this pattern yet but will be making it very soon.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm going to use this pattern to make a necktie for my nephew👔. I was trying to find a chevron that wouldn't be too wide and would give me the perfect point for a necktie.
Hi! I love the look of this headband I'm definitely going to make one :) Just for my own notes, I'm writing out the pattern: 1) chain 27 2) sc starting in 2nd chain from hook [26 sts] 3) 1 ch, 1 inc, 11 sc, skip 2, 11 sc, 1 inc [26 sts] - repeat until desired length
@@DivingDucksCrochetI thought we are suppose sc 12 not 11. If we sc 12 each end plus the 2 in the middle that's 26 but with the increase each end how is that 26?
So easy to follow with all the details given and not skipped, I have subscribed to learn more from your calm and very easy way of teaching - many other TH-cam teachers can learn from your style - THANK YOU 😊
@@DivingDucksCrochet I subbed and I’ll be watching many more of your videos after the holidays while I try to beat the winter doldrums. Wishing you a Happy⛄️Holiday❄️Season🌲
I just bought a (faux) fur lined headband and it is too small. I don't crochet but looked up crocheted headbands and I saw your tutorial. I am watching it now and you explain everything so well. I believe you can teach me something my grandma tried and could not. 😀
👍Hallo aus Germany, habe die ersten 16 Reihen fertig, Sieht toll aus. Ich freue mich, wenn das Stirnband fertig gehäkelt ist und ich es tragen kann. Thank you 👍
Hello, first of all thank you for the great explanation 👍 great pattern is super nice to crochet worked right from the start thank you for that. Can I have some more, please . LG from Texas Amarillo
Vielen lieben Dank für das super schöne Stirnband. So ein hübsches Muster hab ich noch nie gesehen..... Toll, dass es auch auf deutsch übersetzt ist. Ich versuche es heute nach zu häkeln. Mach weiter so 👍
WOW you make it so easy to learn this pattern 😍 I was like oh no I can't do this but with you patience and experience I got it 🎉🤗 so very grateful for your channel and talent 💜🌺
Thks for yr clear explanation, want to crochet one wiz a rim like casket,to protect from sun ,plz, plz make a tuto for me dear thks in advance, love n kissesss🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👍🇲🇺
Thank you for sharing the beautiful patter. While trying to make one, I found that you put in one extra single crochet in the last stitch of row 2 and that will make it 13 single crochets on this half, not 12 as described in the video. Following the pattern, one side will always be 1 more stitch than the other side (12 vs. 13). Is it designed that way? I am a little confused.
@@Louloupetals The video showed an increase @5:30 which is wrong. That is at the end of row 1, no increase on both ends. There should be 1 SC in each chain for this row. Then every row of the rest of the pattern is to repeat *12 SC, skip 2, 12 SC*, with increase in the first and last stitches. I don't know if my explanation solves your problem.
Thank you for the cute pattern! I was wondering if there is a multiple for the starting chain in case I want to make it wider or can I just use a larger hook? 😊
Thank You for the slower pacing…..as it helps this 70 years-plus returnee to crocheting something as gorgeous as this headband…..
You're very welcome 😊
I'm 51 and only learning and so appreciate the slow pace to many thanks 😊
Me, too! I'm 78 and picking up crocheting again and I also appreciate the slower paced instructions! Thanks so very much!

Oh my god. Im so sorry!!! Big mistake! 🙈🙈🙈 You should begin each row with an increase. Also at the beginning of row 2.
Sorry sorry sorry 🙈🙈🙈

Can you do this headband with ribbed edge?
Im new to your channel I'm a new content creator just came across your channel and these headband is gorgeous thank u for sharing💕💕
Thank you so much 🤗 Glad You liked them.

Not sure what I've done wrong but my chains were getting less and less think I might have counted wrong ?? Looking more like a U shape
Thank you?
If I want it as a scarf, how to change the direction, so the arrow will be for both begenning and ending is the same?
I tried this and it ended up curling a lot. So I frogged it.
If there are more chains than 27 for example 40 chains then how many do we have to skip ? Like you did 12 SC THEN SKIPPED 2 and then again 12 SC
Thank you for this tutorial. Can I use cotton yarn instead of acrylic?
Thank you. Yes you Can use cotton. It will look great! I love working with cotton.
Merci bien explicquer
Merci Carmen 😊
I'm a newby.....odd or even number of stitches when obtaining the width? My SIL wants a thin style headband, Thanks loads, Sandy
Thank you for the cute pattern! I was wondering if there is a multiple for the starting chain in case I want to make it wider or can I just use a larger hook? 😊
You are very welcome. I wouldnt use a larger hook. I think the pattern would be to loose then. You can chain any uneven number.
