10:49 this is technically the first masked dedede theme ever and its so surprising hal used this for masked dedede's theme in a game that was very underrated. hal really goes hard with its past game references
They definitely do even going to remix it in later titles
There are exactly 3 things every Kirby fan knows about Dedede:
1)he's the best
2)his Theme goes hard and gets better with each game
3)he will never fail to give us fun and memorable Boss Fights
Masked Dedede and Roar of Dedede will always be my favorite,I love them so much and I can't wait to see what HAL will do in the next game!
I may not be a Kirby fan because I haven't played any of these games but I agree listening to his music while making this video was awesome I love his themes even if they sound the same with little changes I still love them

They manage to rehash stuff and make it original and cool at the same time
Also,you should definetely play the last 5 Mainline games (Return To Dream Land,Triple Deluxe,Planet Robobot,Star Allies and Forgotten Land), they're the best IMO and the ones with the biggest amount of Lore
@@Shadex_Joestar their final boss themes made me interested in the soundtrack as a whole and why I love it also I really should I need to get forgotten Land and I was looking for Star Allies but I hope to find them and maybe do a playthrough.

It's so amazing how Hal is able to out do themselved every single game when it comes to DDD themes, they all feel unique in their own way, but are still the same iconic melody that everyone remembers.
The last one in particular, going so hard by using amitting sounds like in a metal factory, have a slower tempo, and best of all, DDD roaring in the background, makes it feel like he is in a factory comanding the beast pack to make more cages to capture the Waddle Dees in his mind control state, it's so amazing.
I'm impressed with their work and why people love it so much everything about it is just awesome.

You know, compared to Bowser, King Dedede is a way better written character AND Nintendo platformer boss character
Bowser starts off wanting to kidnap the princess with the answers to why provided by Sunshine (Junior) and Odyssey (Marriage) and the most fleshed out he becomes was in the SPINOFF RPGs of all the entries.
But Dedede? He did start off wanting to steal all of Dreamland’s food, but he actually grew as a character in later mainline entries and was given more depth and complexity to how he bahaves and acts towards others.
Although I love both characters, the chad Dee King always reigns supreme to the incel Koopa King.
Also Dedede’s theme was pretty much perfect from the start since they remixed it in later games literally ending with the perfect versions.
Meanwhile Bowser keeps getting different themes for many dfferent games with the most used being 64, and the best (imo) being 3D World!
You do have good reasons why each has pros and cons
To me Bowser has the better themes
Dedede has the better fights
Bowser is better written in the rpg games
Dedede grows in an character arc in each game
Not a single horrible version of good ole Triple D. 😁👍

Yes I know I did a OOF my bad I thought it was right but nope I got it wrong sorry I can't fix it.
Here are my top 5 favorite Dedede battle themes:
#1: Roar of Dedede (1:47:01). I can not believe how hard this hits. This definitely tops _Triple Deluxe_ as Dedede's best boss theme to date. Speaking of...
#2: Masked Dedede's Revenge (38:20). Even with Roar of Dedede around, this STILL slaps. It may not be the best Dedede theme anymore, but it's still a damn good one.
#3: King Dedede Stage (3:03). Much like I mentioned on the 2022 video about Kirby final boss themes, this is from *_A PUYO PUYO SPIN-OFF._* And it's still so good.
#4: Kirby Squeak Squad (20:51). Fun fact: this is the only time King Dedede & Meta Knight share the same boss theme instead of Meta Knight having an arrangement of his _Kirby Super Star_ theme. Some people don't like this, but I say *_IT SLAPS._*
#5: Super Smash Bros. Brawl (22:40). What else is there to be said about this rendition that hasn't already been said?
I definitely agree with the top 2 Roar of Dedede is my personal favorite in the series so awesome it's the king at his prime

I know they always make it better and better which is why forgotten land version is easily my favorite of all the themes.

My favorite theme in here is probably the Moon Warriors(Waning Masked Dedede & Waxing Masked Meta Knight) theme because to me, it sound like the events of a battle that: would probably shake the world; or was a very hardcore, final boss battle; or the battle deciding the end of some sort of calamity(it genuinely reminds me of Supreme Calamitas or a solar eclipse from Terraria's Calamity mod).
And yes, I had to search up the names again, it's impossible to remember which one is which. I know they're both Masked warriors, but they're related to crescents, so one is the Waxing warrior, and the other is the Waning, but it's so hard to remember a 4/5 word name when there's only usually 2 words

especially when both are combined together at the same time, making it a 8/10 word boss name(4/5 for each boss character) and when the name only appear at a very hard difficulty in one game...

Although its kinda strange for his theme to not be used during his fight in Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land, at least the slower version of ‘Gourmet Race’ from Kirby Super Star (which the second version of his theme has been in use) is good enough.
I would have added that but it doesn't play during his boss fight I was desiding it.
Having Revenge of the Enemy come after Masked Dedede feels weird.
