All the songs are as they were originally. What's amazing is they did this in one take! They really are a whole vibe!I get chills when DK sings too! 😊
I think a few are also rearranged a bit so the songs would smoothly move onto the next, and like he said, made the vocals stand out more. I think Adore U, Oh My, and Don't Wanna Cry were tweaked especially for this.
The one whose vocals u pointed out a couple of times with bleached hair, red in-ears and a white shirt is woozi their main producer(+bumzu). He has composed almost 90% of their discography, and if u continue to react u can assume that he composed every song.
The members always take part in writing lyrics, some more than others.
The rapper you liked is vernon, and although the group is divided into units (vocal, performance and hip hop) they aren't limited to those positions and they're all all-rounders.
They definitely choose some brighter and more chill songs for this vid, though they have a lot of those, but I would say its impossible to summarize their discography since it so long and varied.
Some more intense and faster songs (with mv) include fear, cheers(by the svt leaders sub unit) , hit and getting closer. Their japanese song call call call is pretty rocky. The solo songs 'Ruby' by woozi and 'black eye' by vernon also kinda fit in the rock category.

One thing I love about Seventeen is they produce diverse genres of music and killin' it! There are genres that personally not my vibe but Seventeen makes me appreciate and love it.

Seventeen is divided into 3 sub-unit (Hip-hop, vocal & performance).
When it comes to delivering beautiful live vocal with stage breaking performance SEVENTEEN is second to none.
Seventeen's discography is really diverse, Rock, chill, balad you can have everything, they can pull of any concept/music genre actually.
But they're widely known for their fresh, chill concept, they're summer king, they're Freshteen. 😅😅
The guy with half black and half white jacket you liked at 10:57 is Vernon. He just released a solo track titled Black Eye, which is more of a pop-punk inspired stuff

The song at 10:13 is called "Run to you" in the Director's Cut album. It is a B-SIDE, meaning it's not the main title track (that one is THANKS). I recommend it to you! It's honestly my favourite Seventeen track along with THANKS :D

I'm glad SVT is getting more and more recognition for their solid vocals. All this time they've been known more for their powerhouse performances and dance synchronization--which is deservingly so. They're such an all-rounder and wholesome group!
I love Seventeen's Killing Voice video because they are famous for their choreography and dancing (as they should be) but their live vocals and rap are really outstanding too, and this Killing Voice ended up getting so many views so more people got to know their vocal abilities. Seungkwan and DK are two of the best main vocalists in kpop, but I feel like kpop _fans in general_ don't even know that unless they specifically know Seventeen and go to look for their videos, or watched a vocal-heavy performance. And their rap line is criminally underrated too! Hardly anyone knows of them outside of the fandom. They should really see their performances like 'Un Haeng Il Chi', hip hop unit is DEADLY live. Anyway thanks for the reaction! Seventeen is really talented in so many aspects. And also, they filmed this whole Killing Voice live and in one take. And while there is a backing track for the songs, the backing vocals are _all live_ and the ad-libs are all improvised, they are not from the studio recording.

17:10 Haha yeah that’s Joshua! He was born and raised in America and came to Korea in Highschool . Vernon wasn’t raised in America but he was born in America and raised in Korea but he speaks English well because he’s mixed and his mother spoke English at home.
if you want something harsher from seventeen i recommend getting closer, hit and fear !! especially getting closer, i think you'd enjoy that one :)

seventeen is well known for their hardcore choreo, as well as their "loud music", you should check their whole discography! they all amazing!
I've already watched this SO MANY TIMES since it came out - so I had heard Left & Right in passing when it came out but didn't go into Seventeen more until they hit us with Darling then Hot like some kind of confusing double whammy of sounds and then KILLING VOICE and I was DONE. This performance just feels soooo gooooood and they are one of these groups that the more you learn and listen the more you will love them. I have semi-attempted to go deeper on groups here and there and not found that is the case, but Seventeen won't let you down (to be corny and quote them).
If you loved Hot it would be amazing to see you do a reaction to their latest album Face the Sun. It’s such an interesting direction in their sound I think you might really like it!

Watching reactors in their svt journey early on is my ultimate source of joy. Simply watching svt bounce off of each other frees you from worries and relieves stress. The fluttery feelings of awe at their quality and consistency are bonuses. watching people discovering them for the first time brings so many memories, seeing in real time people slipping into the diamond life slowly and then all at once. The only mistake people make is getting deterred by 13 members. When actually, you just have to leave it to the journey, if it’s difficult memorising many names all at once, you don’t have to start with that. As you see more of them, you’ll get it eventually. Though I can certainly guarantee each member and their charms will be memorable and mesmerising enough to pick them apart by :) I can see you’re really enjoying and that makes it more fun to watch. if you’re checking out their songs, sometimes you can watch their dances too (along with the mv ofc) because i feel that their dances really gives some visuals to their songs and emphasises some parts you may have missed !! ofc they are excellent dancers too that’s why 😭🤍 i recommend Falling Flower and Snap Shoot’s dances because i usually prefer most “scenic” dances (i’m not a pro dancer so i’m not sure what it’s called) but ALL their choreos are great!!
