  • Where once tanks would roll into the streets to silence dissent, today, authoritarian rule is often imposed much more subtly, yet just as effectively.
We travel to Hungary, described as the European Union’s first outright dictatorship, where radio journalist Mihail describes how, in an act of media suppression, the government has suspended his radio licence. It was the beginning, he says, of wider attempts to control the media. Csaba Lukacs, an independent journalist, supports this claim; he risks jail for distributing his newspaper.
We delve into the personalities of leaders like Viktor Orban and examine his growing popularity in Hungary. We also travel to Myanmar to explore the aftermath of the February 2021 military coup and meet political activists and revolutionaries using civil disobedience to challenge the military in a bid to achieve democracy.

This report left out the criminal actions of the US Democrat party in stealing the 2020 election, and how the Democrat party is going all-out to turn America into a Leftist country ,before they can be voted out !! The Illegitimate Biden Regime has taken over the FBI,DOJ, DHS, and Border patrol , to use against any American that's wants to stop them , AND the US media is a total propaganda tool for the Biden regime !! I wanna ask these questions to other countries who are silent and standing, watching this happening again and again. I'm from Myanmar and we, Myanmar civilians all are now fighting together with our own ways for this democracy! But we will never give up our fighting for justice and we are also now keeping fighting against this coup. We also need other countries' help on the way to the democracy as we, humans all are living and staying together in this world and we all shouldn't let this brutalities and injustice happen again and again and we all have to fight this will never happen again in every single country and we have to remove injustice from this world! The people of Myanmar are getting a taste of their own medicine. Where were the street protests when the military was wiping out the Rohingya people? Aung San Suu Kyi herself exonerated the very same military that her locked up now. And as for your lamenting that only democracy is good for the world, you should talk to the brown and black people in the west. And then if you're not convinced that it is just another vehicle for power-hungry humans, try talking to the brown and black people in their own countries (like Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, Central and South America) after they were invaded by people from democracies--not to mention being colonized by the same democratic people over hundreds of years. And then, when I look at what "dictators" have done in China over the past 40 years, I can only conclude that no matter what you call the political systems, Gandhi seemed to be the only one who got it right when he said that there will always be enough for everyone's needs but never enough for anyone's greed.

By that very same Logic, where were the Rohingya people, when the Karen people were being Ethnic Cleansed by the Military Junta? You know that Min Aung Hlaing and the Military Junta are still killing Rohingya people right? You act like that ended. The Rohingya are still dying in the Rakhine, to this day. The ones who didn't flee or couldn't. Even while Aung San Suu Kyi is locked up and detained. The Rohingya that actually were able to flee to Bangladesh are Still living in Horrible Living Conditions and their Leader was Assassinated a few weeks ago. While, you blame her and not the Very Military that is doing all the Chaos and horrible Actions.
Don't speak of tasting their own Medicine. The people of Myanmar have been tasting that Medicine for 70 years through 4 Military Coups. Why do you think there are Many Ethnic Armies around the Country of Myanmar? That Military has killed Thousands of people and displaced, Millions of people from Myanmar. At Least you heard about the Rohingya Genocide. Imagine how the Karen people Feel. They have had it the worst and been targeted by the Military Junta for the Longest. There are Refugee Camps that date back to the 80s in Thailand that house Karen People from Myanmar, that are still being used to this day.
You also Bring up Gandhi, as the only one who got it right, and while I don't what he did for India was great, but guess what Gandhi didn't like Black people. Gandhi described black Africans as “savage,” “raw” and living a life of “indolence and nakedness,” and he campaigned relentlessly to prove to the British rulers that the Indian community in South Africa was superior to native black Africans.

@@rygar218 Oh no, I DO blame the military, they're just like all military forces, including, if not especially, the industrial military complex in our own country. I just find it hard to sympathize with people who ONLY stand up when THEY are the victims. And what, did you expect the Rohingyas to come down the elevators in their mud huts, jump on their motorcycles or in their cars and protest before going home to a nice hot meal on their way to the mall or before going to spend the night at some night clubs? The fact that the military is still killing Rohingyas makes ASSK and her protesters just as guilty if not even guiltier. That medicine sure doesn't taste good when it's in your own mouth.

@@zactianne6331 You said, *"When they only Stand up when they are the Victims?"* What are saying? So, wait let me ask you since you want to give the excuse "only" for the Rohingya, not to protest when the Karen were dying and still are dying to the Military Junta. So, what do you expect the Burmese people and other Ethnics to do for the Rohingya, Karen, Chin, Mon, Shan, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, and the many other ethnics including their own Bama Civilians to protest as well? How many times has the Military Junta killed Protesters? Did you even look? 1962 Coup, 8888 Revolution, 1996, Saffron Revolution, etc etc. Again, That Military Murdered Thousands of people and has Displaced Millions of People from Myanmar. That Military has attacked its OWN Civilians For 70+ years and 4 Military Coups. Do you understand this?
ASSK, while she doesn't look good for defending the Military, she didn't order that. While, she did nothing for the Rohingya, she wasn't the one pulling the trigger on them. She has no Control over the Military Junta and can never order them to do anything. She has no Police Force and No Military to arrest and hold the Military Junta and its Generals Accountable for their Actions. She went to ICJ to defend herself. The ICC is preparing their evidence against, Min Aung Hlaing as we speak. But, tell me, how is ICC gonna arrest and Detain Min Aung Hlaing? Let me also remind you that the Rohingya Leader was assassinated very recently in the Bangladesh Camp.
If she would of spoke out against the Military Junta in 2019 in front of ICJ, the Coup would of just happened then. She gambled to win the election to make changes within the Country. Constitutional Reforms and Legislative reforms only happen with Power, Power that ASSK and the NLD didn't have at that time. The Military Junta is apart of Myanmar's Parliament. The Military Junta can just outright veto any Constitutional Change or Legislative change. That is until they lost this last election. Why do you think they performed a Coup? Let me remind you she was never the Leader of the Country. She was only the leader of her Political Party, which is the NLD. Her Official Title was *"State Counsellor of Myanmar,"* That's it. The President of Myanmar was Win Myint and even he cannot Order the Military to do anything. Myanmar was a Shared Democracy between the Military Junta and the Civilian Government.
You need to stop saying, *"medicine sure doesn't taste good when it's in your own mouth."* Again these people have been tasting that medicine for 70 + years. You think the Civilian BAMA Ethno-Nationalists, the ones who are actually are Military Supporters, are out on the Street Protesting, getting arrested, beaten, and killed? No, there not. They are Narcing on their own Neighbors to the Military Junta. And the Military Junta just release Wirathu, the Buddhist monk that started all the Hate Speech against the Rohingya, from Prison a few months back. You need to Point the Finger Directly at the Military Junta and its Leader, General Min Aung Hlaing. He is the one who is causing all the Chaos and Murder. He laughs at people like you blaming Civilians and ASSK, while his Army continues to March down and kill people you claim to care about. If the people of Myanmar completely submit to the Military Junta and capitulate to them, tell me what do you think is going to happen to the Remaining Rohingya that still live in the Country? Remember General Min Aung Hlaing is the one who gave a speech about them being Illegal Bengali Immigrants and his Military will do everything to protect Myanmar from them. Spoiler Alert look to Germany in the 1940s. The Rohingya that Fled the Country can never return while the Military is in full Control of the Country and the ones that still live there are in More danger than ever.
