Thank you so much for the reaction Silvia! It was so relatable. We ALL bobbed our head along the nostalgic beat of Muddy Water and absolutely FREAKED with Freeze!!! They legit bought back the 2000s with this album - especially the dubstep of Freeze, the hiphop-ness of Muddy water, the nostalgic tv show backtrack or 5sos vibe in Waiting for us and the rock feel of Lonely St; the album is a banger indeed!
I do hope you guys would be inclined to continue your skz journey from Go Live next! There are so many hidden gems sprinkled in their bsides! And you’re right, Chan once mentioned how the “true” sound of Stray Kids truly began to show after Gods menu (which is Go alive era) so cant wait for those reactions!!
If you want any recommendations of reacting to their content, or just watching it in your own time, I highly recommend Skz Code. It’s on their channel, and has 14 episodes. They’re all fairly shot and come in pairs (so 1 and 2 are a segment, 3 and 4 are a segment etc). They’re super funny!!!!

That #1 is well deserved. This is a NO SKIP album. Even outside kpop you can't deny, Stray Kids is on their own different lane.
A lot of us actually talk about Muddy Water to be reminiscent of 3racha’s soundcloud tracks predebut, especially Scene Stealer. It would be cool if you’d react to 3racha’s songs after you get through skz’s discography so far!

As a 90s hip hop fan, Muddy Water gave me exactly what I needed! I was so shocked that they made a track like this but not surprised at the same time lol. Hyunjin & Felix grew SO MUCH over the past few years, they killed it! I went through a short dubstep phase so Freeze kinda brings out a part of me that I thought was long gone lol. The MV makes me laugh but at least they look good lol

Thank you for explaining all the intricacies between Korean and English in Muddy Water! The wordplay and onomatopoeia are incredible on their own but it just adds more layers of lyricism of the track.
Changbin's experimental flow just keeps getting better and better, and it has always managed to knock me off my feet. In the future it'll obliterate me for sure.

This album makes me so emotional too! Cause it really is their story as well. It speaks to the core of who they are as artists. Like their greeting "STEP OUT" - step out (of the mold/of the norm) and be different which has always been embodied in their music.
Venom - choosing to be locked up with the good and the bad of chasing their dreams/passion (music, the stage, performing)
Maniac - choosing to let out your inner maniac (which is also how they define their music and the type of music they release)
Charmer - enduring to showing off their charms to the world
Freeze - breaking through the hate/obstacles (people calling their music noise and them not choosing to conform but instead break through it and burn forever)
Lonely St. - them getting exhausted as they go through this journey but asking not to be comforted because they have a long way to go, doubling as them struggling even more without seeing stays through the journey and not having that reprieve
Waiting for us - choosing to see the silver lining through the pain in hopes of seeing each other again and living once more
Muddy Water - declaring the start of something new because they will always dish out something that's uniquely theirs so everyone better listen for once
The kids also make it a point for the songs to be open to a lot of interpretations so this is my personal take. Such an amazing album. Once you guys start again with Go Live then In Life then Noeasy, would really recommend the INTRO videos from there since you both appreciate the artistry and message so much. Thank you for the reaction! I thoroughly enjoyed listening and watching alongside you both.

For the next two albums, I strongly recommend checking out Go Live and In Life individually. Yes, In Life is a repackaged album but, it has about 7 or 8 new songs and, there are songs that are on Go Live that aren't on In Life.
100% agreed. For the purposes of reaction content, they're basically an album followed by a separate mini album worth of new music. There's as much new content on In Life as there is on ODDINARY.

Oddinary is definitely Stray kids's best mini-album for sure, but if I had to pick the best album outta their entire discography, I'd still have NOEASY at number 1. I can't wait for you guys to get to it, it's such a diverse album covering many genres and the production and lyricism for each song is just *chefs blunt*.

As far as I know every member of SKZ started after Levanter to write lyrics. Every sub unit song was always written by all the members of this sub unit together.
