In Cornwall I have found that fishing the surf beaches after dark when the surfers have gone home is best. I get a few bass usually. I’ve never done that well fishing the rock marks.

I had my granddaughter out last Tuesday night and she caught a wee sand eel, a mackerel and a duck yes a 🦆, went out on Saturday for about 1hr 45 mins with my son and granddaughter had about 40 mackerel great session any way look forward to more videos tight lines till the next one
Fishing on town head on the old life boat slip if you go further to your right there is a nice mark with a concreste platform / old bunker thing had some great catches of pollock bass bream etc from there while holidaying down there
Fishing has really gotten worse in the south west, even mackerel are hard to find. Was in Salcombe estuary all day on a kayak and not even a fish on the finder.
Fished Newquay 5 weeks back and fishing was shockingly bad, even the boat fishing was slow Thanks to big trawlers whos been raping the south coastlines 🤬 mackerels were none exsistence, usually get them most of the year there 🤦♂️ oh well on to the next one tight lines 👍 🎣

Use a pulley as top snood for your 2 hoop loops so if you lose hooks to the dreaded spiders, can just tie another!!

Wind knots = go a bit heavier. Even overload the rod a bit. Listen to me, or dont. Up to you, I've only lived by the sea and lived off it for decades.
