The one thing I can never seem to find in this series is the water slide decals for the face. That's honestly the only thing keeping me from hoarding as much 30MS parts to make my own waifu army with.

I hope there will be a third party version for it. Bandai's water decals is the worst quality after using other brands decals.
Bandai should do what they did with the Gundam girls and add a set of matching water slides to the kit. Its nice to have them included, but what if you want to paint it? Some characters have unique eyes too. Im doing a custom 30ms girl, and going to draw my own faces and print my own water slides.

So glad their arms and legs injected plastic runners like a pipe shape instead of separate halfs of its limbs assembled in one piece.

This is definitely the best model kit line to make custom characters ! 🥰 The only downsides are the thick wrist joints and the hands that are supposed to hold accessories or weapons, which aren't soft plastic and therefore can only hold 30MS and 30MM accessories... 😢
yah that IS a major drawback.., it's almost as if you need your own 3d printer and scanner to really fix so of those oversights. hear is hoping that they keep adjusting. One of the major things that people in the 30MS hobby in the non japanese community is just how many different type of inner hip joints that there are for each of the sisters. It's kinda crazy. You can find a good video in japanese about it all but it's literally not talked about in english.

also people using the swimsuits on the Figurise-Standard Suletta and Miorine and they worked.
And then people began to say, what if we put bandai’s other line, Figure-rise Sueleta Mercury’s head on the Type C body? And it works with the swap neckpiece.
Hadnt noticed this before but gosh the wrist joints are unsightly big on these. Now I cant unsee it anymore haha. I dont own any of bandais musume kits but I do have a ton from kotobukiya and some other chinese manufacturers and none of em made this same "mistake".(though im sure its on purpose on bandais part as the wristjoints on other musume kits tend to be more fragile and not completely foolproof)
I work with senior citizens and the wrists on these remind me of the thick liquid filled ankles some of them have xD
The extra shiny plastic for the one piece bathing suit was a fantastic choice though, looks great.
It was a deliberate design by Bandai. Your guess is correct: It's mainly for durability and ease of moving the part. The "angled" joints seems to prevent buildup of stress marks and tearing commonly seen on 90°/perpendicular wrist joint designs (like on most mecha musume kit/SH Figuart/figma 2.0 etc)
And I realized the 30MS kits can really grab/ hold heavy weapons much better than most manufacturer "musume" kits due to the angled joint design. No flappy/loose wrists problem.

Edit: oh wait you mean the joints on the 30mm sisters are "cut" diagonaly instead of straight, so they always move at an angle?

-Those are also sometimes included in both goodsmiles and kotobukiya musume kits.- -Never had the need to use em though.-
-I havent had issues yet with the wrist joints being too lose and/or not holding up parts on any of my musume kits tbh.- -Only issue ive run into is wrists being so tight they break instead of moving, the exact oposite haha.-
One day. I will delve into the world of 30MS or other mecha masume. Today will not be that day.

It seems that if there's one thing 30MS can never get right, it's their hands. I have a Tokai Teio 30MS and one of the hands is her holding up 3 fingers, but the thumb and pinky blob together. It looks creepy.
I have a hard time finding the hair options and the skin options. I've got all the swimsuits, mainly for the cool transparent parts.
I am working on a 30MS custom but I need the decal sheet to be restocked so I can finish painting her skin

That shiny plastic simulates a shiny latex outfit the figure is wearing. Very good idea by Bandai.

Essentially yes, and it's fully how Kotobukiya seems to be hitting back with the new Buster Doll series looking very much like 30MM lol
