They're not playing hard enough... It's a goddamn marathon, not a sprint. It's all about pacing. Doing enough to get by and keep everyone healthy. Health is the number one factor here. Why turn up the heat now and burn out during the playoffs and risk losing key players like KP and Jrue who have missed chunks of time due to injury? I want them at their best in the playoffs, not now.
health/injury concern is an excuse. For the celtics, their best players are in their 20s and early 30s. They are more than capable of playing hard all season. Porzingis has never been healthy his whole career even when he has not played a lot of minutes, they cant count on him either way. Also winning in the regular season is important. You look at all of the nba champions of the past 30-40 years or so, the vast majority have been 1 seeds. The winning habits you build in the regular season carry over into the playoffs. You cant turn it on and off.
@JJ_5289 How's that an excuse? For the past 4 years, BOS, MIL, MIA, and PHI all held the #1 in the east, DAL, DEN, PHX, and UTH, and have held the #1 spot in the west. Celtics(2024) and Nuggets(2023) were the only ones who won as the #1 seed. Warriors(6th 2022), Bucks(3rd 2021) and Raptors(2nd 2019). The east was decimated by injuries in 2023 when DEN won. You can say the same about us last year. In 2022, we limped into the finals and got ran over by GSW. The healthiest team usually wins it all. You can be the #1 seed in either conference and end the regular szn on a high note. But one injury to a key player during the playoffs will shift the entire playing field.

And Jaylen and White have missed time
So Gasper, is Boston supposed to apologize for beating undermanned teams?
It’s crazy how yall keep bitching they are the defending champions and they still got a great record going into the all star weekend
Is it seriously against the law for fielder and mazz to say anything positive about Boston sports.
Then how do they fix it Christopher
We're not the Steelers because we have WON RECENTLY
So Fire Mazzulla? That seems to be what the consensus from the local media is.
I think they should rest Tatum. Hes been playing non stop hopps since June, he could use a break
The only time the Celtics get any coverage in this market is when they lose. It’s pathetic.
If thw team wasn't up for sale and if changes weren't coming in the off season due to the luxury tax would fans me less worried?
They are lazy and hard to watch this season
Okk...
Okay...
Gasper is a broad.
