    Nice looking citrus. Hope my ten degree tangerine and Browns Select will do well in ground here in eastern Tenn.Those skeeters are bad now - they leave just enough of me for the wasps and yellow jackets.Just kidding! Good luck on those citrus and thanks for this video!

    What the best month to start your cutting branch from a tree

    • @tdhomestead
      @tdhomestead 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Pretty much any time of year seems to work for me with citrus but I think the cuttings might root a little faster in the spring .. I have been doing a little pruning on some of my trees and will likely start some new cuttings this week.

    So what are you doing with the cuttings once you get em in the cup?

    • @tdhomestead
      @tdhomestead 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      just keep them watered so the soil doesn't dry out, i will usually put them on a dish or another cup and try to keep them sitting in about a quarter inch of water until they show signs of new growth .. this time of year you will also need to make sure they don't get too much intense direct sunlight. You can build a terrarium/ humidity dome with a clear plastic bag and you won't have to be quite as diligent about checking the moisture but I haven't found it to be necessary;

    My lemon tree is in the ground but know flowers are fruits what I need to do different with my tree

      I think fertilizing may help.
      How old is the tree and how long have you had it planted? May just need some more time to get established. Growing fruit trees can definitely be a game of patience :)

    Do you ever sell grafted meyer lemon ?

    • @Number6
      @Number6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not selling any now but possibly in the future. I am only doing for a hobby at the moment. I am planning to use some of the cuttings I am currrently rooting to plant in-ground so I can experiment with different ways of protecting them from the cold .. i am in zone 8a, only about 10 miles from zone 7b, there are about 40 nights a year where the citrus needs some protection
