Kind of disagree, I bad camera and lens will never produce good image no matter how skilled are you, Nikon D5300 was my first and worst camera, now after 7 years when I upgraded to Canon R-8 I hv seen huge improvement in my photography, my photography has not improved significantly but I am able to capture much better images, I never felt satisfied with my Nikon D5300 but from first day itself I am happy with R-8.
Inside the studio it doesn't matter what camera you're using but if you shoot outdoors it matters. Focusing ISO much better in Mirrorless than DSLR.
Yes mirrorless cameras are better than DSLRs, but would you say that before mirrorless cameras Images were not good

I do agree with you but Just sharing my thoughts. I am an entry-level photographer but new cameras are more advanced in saving your time by having ISO and shutter speed settings plus better picture quality on photo with AF of fast moving objects.

Fantastic episode. "GAS": gear acquisition syndrome is very common among photographers. You have nicely and logically explained the topic. Even after knowing all these emotion kicks off and overpower logic when these big companies launch products with so many new features that one forgets that technology is just an enabler, but the real upgrade should be the tool behind the viewfinder that is Us!!

In general you are right. I am a wildlife photographer. We need better camera because neither the lighting is in our control nor the subject. We can’t control the distance from the subject and action needs very fast autofocus and subject detection.

Sir mere pass Panasonic g85 hai aur mujhe jo lag raha tha aaj tak ki bade camera se kuch badi baat ban sakti hai , mujhe upgrade karna padega full frame k liye. aapki baat sahi hai, woh baat sahi hai, mere kaam ko dekh k log poochna band kar diya kaunsa camera use karte ho, pehle poochte the mujhe abhi nahi poochte. Capable camera definitely helps in improved pictures. Just one studio example is not sufficient. Cameras have improved a lot from film era....improve technique by training and practice on low end camera, but aim for higher end camera to overcome limitations.
It is always fascinating to long for sexy looking lenses and cameras. So true that a little bit of mind and knowledge into your photography can translate into masterpieces photographs. I remember in good old days, I remember top photographers used to carry cameras that were worn out and looked really used. In fact it is better to make your camera an extension of you and your eye, than to invest on expensive & fancy lenses . Very insightrful and useful video indeed.

I am a enthusiast photographer, I have shot professional quality images and I use old D610 a basic full frame of Nikon, this video by far is the best one that I have ever seen...

Hi vipin, I have been using a7iii since 2019 and have clicked more than 233k pics from it. I shoot hybrid. I agree with most of your point here in this video. But with a7iii now I feel lack of good video stabilization .. rest all is good except that body is showing signs of wear n tear. And yes I don't shoot 4k fhd does the job. But then yes I do get tempered to upgrade to a75 in future. Your thoughts. I shoot weddings and sports
You should upgrade your camera, because you are a professional photographer and can afford a new camera, and also you are facing some limitations. Now as far as the wear and tear is concern, I would say that it is completely depends on you. I personally like my camera to look as new as possible .

Hi Vipin Sir, I have Nikon d3300 with 70-300mm lens. Should I upgrade it to Nikon z6ii or Canon R7 for wild life? I feel the fps is very less in d3300 and capture my birds in flight is very difficult. Please suggest which model will best for me. Thanks in advance

Actually update is necessary not only for photography but video because most of the clients or user are now into videography for instance youtube shorts insta reels now videography is the go to apart from photo.. And latest camera have better processor for 4k recording and more fps and 5 axis IBIS and controlles rolling shutter and video in 12 bit so get the latest equipment period.....
