It was Hazrat Muhammad SAW's sunnah to recite these two surahs (first surah falaq then surah naas) and to repeat this process thrice and then He SAW apny hathon pr phoonk marty phir apnay hath apni pori body pr jahan jahan hath ja skta wahan phera kerty thay... these 2 surahs are the most powerful surahs of Quran for protection.......
