Hey guys hows it going Kripparrian here, Today I wanna give you guys a bit of a meme deck, now I have played different versions of the control warlock even on youtube I have shown you a few of those games, Just keep in mind this is probably not a deck you wanna play seriously but it highlights a few pretty interesting mechanics that are perhaps worth trying. It has to do with the Treachery card now Treachery is a pretty interesting card certanly at 3 mana it's balanced around the Treachery Doomsayer combo wich is actually a pretty legitimate combo but where that falls short is sometimes you don't match up two cards exactly you know if you take the consideration like frost nova doomsayer from mage frost nova is really good on its own doomsayer here is really good at its own you get them together ITS AMAZING well its just not true for treachery when you get treachery on its own well its just completely worthless so you need to have more activators than just doomsayer if your playing a treachery, treachery warlock and thats where a few of the complications come up the other options besides doomsayer are not great nontheless I try to make a deck around a few other very interesting cards that I think you guys would enjoy checking out and while certainly don't copy this deck even though I actually won most of my games I doubt those results are what you can expect with a deck like this I think I just got a bit lucky but nontheless it was a lot of fun and I want to give you guys that to maybe inspire some ideas in the warlock decks you probably are already playing as well warlocks are pretty fun class this expansion. I saw a guy combine this with Imp Gang Boss and Fel Reaver. Using Imp Gang Boss lets you keep using Defile because of the 1/1s, so you don't need spell damage and can hit Howlfiend 5 or 6 times for discard, and using Treachery with Fel Reaver lets you discard their deck. With no deck, no hand and fatigue damage setting in, you basically just win. Or, if you can't wait that long, you can use Coldlight Oracle to make them take extra fatigue and just kill them.
Todays crazy Topdecks: 5:19 Doomsayer to kill Antonidas with Treachery 9:23 Howlfiend for the combo but it got burned 10:18 Howlfiend to finally do the combo 16:52 Defile to boardclear and combo You could argue about Howlfiend but in this deck it's a keycard.
the fact that he didn't used this card in a treachery deck also triggered me, but then I saw Kripp trying to go to 11 cards and got triggered even more xD still though, wouldn't have thought of using howlfiend like that, was pretty neat play :)
Yeah, like how could a 3 card combo that costs 9 Mana, completely consumes your turn and ends up giving you a whopping 2 5/5's not be worth it? It's not a 7 Mana combo btw, you need to kill the rattling rascal as well, and the best way to do that is with Drain Soul, which is useful elsewhere. So yeah, it's not worth it in the slightest, sorry to be such a buzzkill, but double Despicable Dreadlord is just better.

So the first game I played on ladder in FT, I ran into a Warlock who managed to successfully discard my Shadowreaper Anduin and two other cards I REALLY needed with Howlfiend, Treachery, Defile. Never lucky 4Head
I believe you mentioned awhile ago that a warlock board clear that destroys the board and then destroys the board again would be good. I think defile was their answer to that :o
The chance that both "Howlfiends" are at the bottom of the deck is actually 1/435. It's the binomial coefficient of "30 choose 2" and that is = 435 .... Just in case somebody else was as curious as me :D
I hope the next expansion adds some more cards that summon for your opponent, to enable unlicensed apothecary + treachery plays. If the warrior 2/6 that summons three 1/1 minions was a neutral it would already be really good. But it would enable a 4 card OTK, so I guess it's a good thing that it's warrior exclusive.
What do you guys think about a warlock card that deals damage equal to the damage you took that same turn? So Like you use hellfire and tap and then you can deal 5 damage. Thoughts?
I feel like this concept would work better with Keening Banshee than it does with Howlfiend. If you have to use both treacheries on Doomsayers, the Banshee is a legitimate card, it has a much higher average mill rate when it does work, and it has a much higher maximum value. The Howlfiend just feels a little bit unambitious.
Yo I just thought of Another activator for Treachery (or at least a card that synergizes well with it): 4 mana Rattling Rascal. 7 mana: Summon a 5/5 for yourself, and a 2/2 for your opponent with Deathrattle: Summon Another 5/5 for the warlock.
Using treachery on that minion that destroys your cards with every card you play could be a good thing in mill decks. Or you could use it with fel reaver in wild.

i once used the treachy + howlfiend combo against a mage and she was so terrified at the prospect of losing her deathknight jaina that she used her fireball on it immediately just to keep me from being able to ping it more then once.
Why no Bomb Squad, Unlicensed Apothecary, Leeroy or other cool Treachery combo cards? I am disappointed. But +1 for Howlfiend, didn't think about that :D

"Don't copy this deck". Yet it seems to be doing pretty well at rank 4. Those two treachery combos combined with all the other removal seems really strong to be honest. Not counting mage with discovery cards, this has to be at the top when it comes to amount of removal you can get. Could you climb in ranked with this?
Finally! I spotted this howlfiend combo the moment howlfiend was announced, has been working ok for me. wins games by itself sometimes, but is more often dead cards
How to make Drakkari Enchanter playable: Make it the "Eredar Enchanter" and slap a Demon tag on it. Boom, Bloodreaver Gul'dan suddenly becomes a 10 mana Flamestrike with armor and the hero power effect.
So what about things like ticking abom + treachery to blow your opponents board up, or treachy + that rattling bones card, where you summon that cute skeleton that gives you a 5/5, then treachery it to you opponent, kill it and you get the other 5/5? Is there too much setup involved? Or what? Fun shenanigans to discover.. teehee!

This is why Treachery should have been on the battlecry of a minion. That way it wouldn't be a dead card on its own and if you played it with doomsayer it would just end up dying anyway so there would be no additional value to gain there.
Have you done/Could you do a version of Control Warlock with Gnomeferatu. It's been suach a controversial card that I want to see it tested out. But i'm not spending 800 dust on a bet card

The chances of the two cards you want being at the bottom are 1/435 rather than 1/870 since they could be in either order down there.
Bomb squad would be good because you get the damage on the minion and then you give it to them so they take 5 damage when it dies

Well that would cost 7 mana for two 5/5s and your opponent gets a 2/2, unsure if that is a good cost or not.
