Alright as a royals fan I love the enthusiasm but teams are too deep pitching wise compared to us and on most night if Bobby and Vinny ain’t hitting it’s a dud of a game most times I love this teams defense and the way we hit with runners in scoring position but we need a couple more consistent reliable bats and a little more bullpen help if we wanna be there but I agree I love watching this team they are fun but let’s not get ahead of ourselves this is major improvement

@@KCChesney-d1s i mean hendricks been notorious for the 4-6 run innings but whats weird is he can be PERFECT through the first 6 even, (tonight was 4 innings and 2 outs) and then boom 4-6 runs in a 30-40 pitch inning i just don't get it... runners on 3rd and second, no outs and no runs scored... i'm starting to think the "curse" is actually real because there is NO reason why the cubs shouldn't have at least been to the playoffs since 2016 and actually competed based on the talent they've had (i know the wild cards and honestly i may even be forgetting a divisional series but even then forget that because they sure as sh*t didn't win it). i get excited to watch sports for a team i cheer for but it feels like i'm cheering for a brick wall
I've been watching my CUBS since 88', I've endured 100 lost season's, what, no playoffs in-between the years 89-98, 2003 collapse, you name it? But, I don't recall seeing the team so weak minded? No approach to hitting, bad coaching, weak a$$ injuries? It seems like they've checked out! It's so alarming because of the talent on the field and supposedly one of the best managers in the game?!
It's terrible the way Counsel let Hendricks stay out there in the 5th inning and get killed over and over again with a high pitch count and a tired arm. Counsel getting paid all that money to do nothing.
