I have been a really big fan of Stryper since they began and I still think they are SUPER musicians and to have a message about Christ is a definite plus

I saw these guys in St. Louis in 84 or 85 at the Checker Dome, and the opening act was Hurricane. Needless to say but, Hurricane blew them away! Couldn't even follow those guys. Especially when Robert Sarzo broke out the bow and went all 'Jimmy Page' on them. Check out Hurricane. Their singer, Kelly Hansen is touring for Foreigner these days. The drummer, Jay Schellen was amazing, and the guitarist and bassist were Quiet Riot's little brothers, Robert Sarzo and Tony Cavazo. They killed Stryper.
There is no excuse for having taste that bad. hurricane has always sucked and in 2018, where are they?? Stryper is stronger and better than most 80's bands ever were.
michael sweet gets to caught up in the life, and thats easy to do when your thrust into the public eye like they were,but I believe that they were brought down to humble them and bring them back to the humility of christ,but yea if they reached just one soul for christ it was worth all the millions and the work,how do you value a human soul? put it back together guys,,its time,,believe me its time!!
