As a lifelong gun owner but never owned an AR of AK until recently. A good friend who happens to be very knowledgeable with the AR and AK helped me through the learning curve of differences, pluses and minuses of each and he recommenced the same budget AR you have for under $400 and an AK just above $600. I am very impressed with both and really like the AR's versatility with regard to upgrades, etc. Like many people, I hope and PRAY, I never have to kill anyone but at the same time, home invasion is at an all-time high and getting worse. I don't know enough about more expensive AR's or AK's but I can't imagine needing more for range shooting ~a few hundred rounds every couple of months and home defense, needing more. I am sure a round in the chest of either of my AR/AK's is just as lethal as any other AR/AK using the same round. Later, if I want to buy a more expensive AR or AK, fine, but for now, I am covered very well to defend my home and family.
I have several BCA uppers, 4 to be exact, 5.56, 300 blkout, and two in 7.62x39. They sit on PSA lowers with their enhanced triggers and Magpul grip. I’ve put about 500 rounds through each with NOT ONE issue or failure of any kind period ! My upper were about $200 each, free shipping and get this no tax ! Shipping was very fast . Awesome, what a bargain , REALLY ! I was impressed with the fit and finish, nothing loose, or missing. I’ve shot all brass in the 5.56, and 300 bulk out, and the cheapest 7.62x39 steel case I can get in the others. All performed equally well, and with my old eyes with sight mark and VorTex glass I was able to keep everything on 8” steel outdoors at 100/150 yards. Honestly for rifles and pistols that come in at under $550 w/ optics you’d be hard pressed to find a better budget combination.
I have ordered more than two or three items from BCA, in the past, and have defended their products online. Called to check on the status of an order for a single barrel due to the delay in shipping. The sales rep said up to 14 days to even ship a single barrel FedEx. When I asked if it would be cheaper to just cancel my order and go to a store and get a barrel, he agreed. $78.00 barrel, $25.00 shipping. and up to 14 days to even ship. I have defended BCA more than once, but now??? I complained, and they now have canceled the order, The barres is no longer in stock amazing. BCA responded that the barrel had gone out of stock after my order, Imagine that. Isn't it amazing how it went out of stock immediately after I complained, yet not 30 minutes before complained and not an hour after it was still showing available. Imagine that. Oh, and they have refunded my payment, might receive it within the next week. Now that is great customer service if I ever saw it.
some of the thing BCA has done you didn't mention is the gas block is very well held in place by 5 lockset screws the fit and finish is absolutely great no nicks or dings the barrel is very good (needs a good break in) no left over metal flakes in or around the bcg it's made totally in the USA by Americans! they cover the rifel with a lifetime warranty! vet owned and family operated business don't be afraid to try any of BCA products they offer much more on their website im very pleased with the performance of my rifle they also guarantee MOA at 100yrds on barrels over 16 inches just can't go wrong with BCA.
I bought an upper just like this and a lower with parts kit making the finished gun 330. I did upgrade the barrel recently to a budget 1:9 twist by Delton (nothing was wrong with the 1:7, I just wanted to shoot lighter ammo). I’m going to upgrade the trigger in the future, but even after that it will be a sub 600 dollar rifle with Magpul Furniture, and a 3.5 pound trigger. Over all I think it is a better value than the M@P 15. So far I haven’t noticed a problem with the BCG, so I don’t plan to upgrade that. I couldn’t be any more happy!
I have to buy BCA Lower and wait for Lower already have a PSA lpk but can’t buy a lower at 18 since it goes through ffl. Private sale is actually cheaper tho just have to have a 16” upper to throw on lower so it’s legal or at least seller is comfortable selling it to me.

BCA makes a x39 AR upper. In addition, 6.5 grendel is based on the x39 case and offers excellent long range capability. If you were willing to spend more, faxon sells the arak 21 which is a hybrid system combining the best of the AR and the AK into one upper that works with standard lowers. 450 bushmaster sidechargers are probably the best thing BCA sells, fantastic round, fantastic performance, like a 10 shot semi auto magnum 12ga slug gun with the standard ar platform. There is a lot more to the AR platform than 5.56
The fact that people spend over $2k on an AR blows my mind. 1 of my fave ARs (of MANY) is a PSA w Magpul furniture that cost $559. Maybe $800 in today’s 2021 market. Spend the other $1k+ on ammo and training.

Good to see you back. I have 2 BCA carbines purchased from classic. I wasn't expecting perfection fortunately . One will not consistently lock the bolt back on the last shot (tried brrownells, PSA mags, pmags, and c products mags). Also changed outnthr bolt catch/release problem persists. Second one had issues with the trigger not releasing during dry fire, beleive this problem hs been resolved. Otherwise functioning has been good. Uppers both seem solid except for 4140 barrels as opposed to 4150.
It’s probably under gassed. I had the same problem. Watch to see where your brass kicks out. If the brass is landing behind you. That’s your problem. On mine I ended up buying a reduced recoil buffer spring and a lighter buffer. (2.7 ounces.) Problem solved.

@@coastalheights3574 how has your delta team tactical ar held up so far? Did you assemble it yourself or had them do it? I am contemplating getting one but I've seen some pretty bad reviews, which have mostly been from a few years back. Looking for a more recent opinion on them. Thanks in advance.

@@coastalheights3574 thanks. They have some really nice looking uppers and the prices just seem to be too good to be true lol. I just may have to take a risk on one. Again thanks.
BCA uppers and Palmetto state lowers (and lower kits) make good budget rifles for a decent price. Yes, these are not the rifles for the competitive shooter or the professional operator...but for the hunting, plinking, target shooting, and home defense these are great options.

Thanks for your review of the BCA AR. My Son wants to get his first MSR, and he's been shooting my BCA 20" S.S. 6.5 Grendel, and asked why other companies couldn't build rifles that shot so well, and were priced so low. I told him that BCA wasn't out to gouge the consumer. Then I saw their AR 5.56 and .223 Wylde offerings. I told him to get a 5.56 flat top, exactly what you showed. So far I not had an Anderson walk on me but every PSA I have bought and shot did, so any PSA I sell gets an anti-walk kit. On another note my issue FN M-4 walked pins all the time. when I was with the Oklahoma Military Dept Police(civilian police issued military weapons by the OKANG)
You should have one per family member at least. I recommend at least mid quality like psa nitride or if you have the funds...their premium fn barreled kits are tons of value for the price

I just got a BCA 10.5” 300 BLK upper for a whitetail pistol build. Are there suppose to be any caliber designation marks anywhere on the upper? Other than the packing slip, how am I suppose to know it’s the correct caliber I ordered? Great looking and feeling upper though. Super stoked for deer season this year.
I would like to know which fixed sight set that is incidentally. - UPDATE: I found out checking my dealer accounts.. They're UTG fixed ssights whch is a good option for inexpensive basic sights. That sight set online will cost about 50 bucks.
I wish i had bought the rear charger as well bot my 16 556 works flawlessly the finish matches perfectly im still waiting for the big failure only 500 rounds so far amazing quality for hi point money who could complain?
Actually, you should get 1 MOA at 100 yards with it. Bear Creek guarantees their barrels to hold that with proper shooting technique. For a basic low cost rifle, they do make a good product. I use a lot of their barrels. A couple things to note: The barrels on the lowest cost rifles are their parkerized barrels.. those will be good for somewhere between 5000 and 10000 rounds depending on ammo. using the Russian steel case bimetal bullet ammo will wear the barrel faster (it'll wear any barrel faster). But, it is cheap too. So, as was pointed out, most people won't average more than 500 rounds a year -that's 10 YEARS of barrel life minimum. There really isn't any need to change the muzzle device. The basic A2 flash hider actually does quite a good job at reducing flash. For a budget rifle, $370 is a super price and it's definitely worth gettingone just to have it. I haven't done anything with Tapco mags but, you can get a few P-mags for it cheap enough anyway.
right now these are listed at 950$ and above! thanks to all the panic buyers! the pandemic has raised prices thanks to a higher demand. the uppers are now 300$ and since bushmaster and dpms got scraped they are no longer making affordable parts! no more 149$ lowers they are now 399$..wen i was pricing builds it was adding up to 800-900$ for what i wanted on the low end that was with bargain basement parts.1100-1300 on the high side with quality bargain even used name brand parts. so what did i do? i started to shop around locally and see if i might find a deal on something in the gun shops and pawn shops and that payed off i found a upper mid level components build for less than i could git the parts for right now. dpms multi cal lower and bear creek 15 in mlok hand guard lo pro gas block setup on a med profile barrel that looks like a Anderson man barrel? it has all the upgrades i wanted already so i consider myself lucky even tho it would have only cost 400$ to build it last year..
Hope they hava contest 4 some !! Poorer than Joe dirt twice DAV ! Saved up $225. toward a high point carbine but 4 that price maybe my Dream gun a AR?! TY4 video sub'd today also
I purchased their 16" full build 223 Wylde AR 2 years ago. It was also 370 with free shipping. I have put thousands of rounds through it. Zero issues. 2 months ago I purchased their 10.5 5.56 complete upper side charging. It also is flawless and very accurate. Paid $130 for the upper.
I recently got mine from BCA and I wasn't very impressed. It was a low quality built upper lots of scratches on the hand guard and barrel. Charging handle is very flimsy and cheap made. . Tried different types of mags and all my ammo would hit inside the barrel. All my casings are dented.

@@KPeteE I've ran a few thousand rounds through it now and it still runs smooth, I've yet to have a single issue with it. DTT was very quick to respond via Facebook message with any questions I had. Ive read some of the bad reviews also but for me I'm a repeat customer. I assembled it myself also.
@@coastalheights3574 thanks. They have some really nice looking uppers and the prices just seem to be too good to be true lol. I just may have to take a risk on one. Again thanks.
@@KPeteE Roger that, good luck on your build
I bought one of there 16 inch barrels for my build and I love it
Totally agree..the AR15 is the Brown Bess of Colonial times.
I've built 2 guns with a variety of parts from various suppliers but both my barrels are BCA and both accurate
"Two to four legged threats"
BCA uppers and Palmetto state lowers (and lower kits) make good budget rifles for a decent price. Yes, these are not the rifles for the competitive shooter or the professional operator...but for the hunting, plinking, target shooting, and home defense these are great options.
I bought a DPMS Oracle and put a BCA Upper on it among a few other upgrades. It works gr8. Gr8 vid. 🔫
I have a BCA upper on a DPMS Oracle lower as well, it's my favorite rifle 👍
Been eyeing up their 7.5 inch 300 blk barrel for my SBR build.
You do realize thanks the the sba3 and SBA 4 brace, there is no longer a real need to sbr anything
Freedom Inc.
You do realize thanks to product markup that an nfa stamp isn’t that much more than those sissy-stocks, right?
Mine is on its way. Thanks for the vid. Excited to shoot 300 black out this hunting season
BCA and PSA have help put guns in so many peoples hands

@@GB-zi6qr Eyup! I think he was a small arms specialist or whatever. I didn't have any close association with additional weapons training after basic myself. Then I found out that I actually had an M-16 assigned to me and that I could've taken it from the armory at any time and practiced with it on the range! Told me that as I was processing out. NOBODY TELLS ME THESE THINGS!
DOH!!!
Only thing I would change is the BCG, the Trigger and a choice optic
Just put a $300 Bear Creek 20” upper receiver on a $125 PSA lower and it’s a Beautiful thing!
Team America Fluck yeah!!!!! Everyone should have an AR for each hand and a spare!
Perhaps with your review, he'll finally order his, and leave mine alone?
Thanks for the review
waiting on my 350 legend upper from bca. ✌
I haven't had an issue with this company and the price of the gun and the accessories will keep the couch commandos happy.
was just on there web site they have one chambered in 7.62x39 for $358.43
Today it's been marked up to $365.00 lol
what site? link please

Just bought one....I like it, but took it to the range last weekend and it is short cycling... any ideas? (Good ammo and tried 3 different brands of magazines, nice n lubricated, ) Shoots one shot and the has to be charged... shoots one shot and then has to be charged....etc.
Have the BCA with side charger on an Anderson Lower. Love it.
that's the set up i'm putting together. BCA 20" Grendel on an Anderson lower for hunting.
Me too. Side charging 7.62x39 with an Anderson lower. Love it, shoots great
I baught my Smith n Wesson sport 2 about 2 months ago for $537 out the door. I went back today to look around and the same gun was up to $1225
Those prices are no more.
Just picked up a side charge 5.56 complete upper from BCA for $199!!
You should have one per family member at least. I recommend at least mid quality like psa nitride or if you have the funds...their premium fn barreled kits are tons of value for the price
Was looking for an upper for my Franken gun made from spare parts. They had decent reviews so I will give them a try. Honestly dont care what it looks like just want another one.
Ive got my AR and I've gotten others to get one too !
Super stoked for deer season this year.
thank God, I waited until the Big Price drop of 2021!! before I purchased my ARs !! No Regrets
Just ordered mine! Love bca!
I'm about to order one myself. Are you happy with it?
@@pimplepickerton are you happy with yours? I'm looking to buy one as well.
I live 30 minutes from them in Sanford, Nc. Their sign is by the highway near my work in Siler City, Nc. Might have to drive down there one day!
You will need to get a new hand guard because the one on it gets hot as fuck pretty fast.
Buying one for my inexpensive polymer lower build. Be a nice light weight gun to shoot.
Is the hole on the handguard a built in qd point? (Not the one you mounted but the circles cut into handguard)
The a2 is a break as well....that's why it's vents are to the top and sides
THEY SPECIFICALLY say DO NOT USE steel cased ammo in their barrels.(bye bye warranty)
I have 3 BCA barrels and they all shoot moa @ 100 yds. Never one single issue.
right now these are listed at 950$ and above! thanks to all the panic buyers! the pandemic has raised prices thanks to a higher demand. the uppers are now 300$ and since bushmaster and dpms got scraped they are no longer making affordable parts! no more 149$ lowers they are now 399$..wen i was pricing builds it was adding up to 800-900$ for what i wanted on the low end that was with bargain basement parts.1100-1300 on the high side with quality bargain even used name brand parts. so what did i do? i started to shop around locally and see if i might find a deal on something in the gun shops and pawn shops and that payed off i found a upper mid level components build for less than i could git the parts for right now. dpms multi cal lower and bear creek 15 in mlok hand guard lo pro gas block setup on a med profile barrel that looks like a Anderson man barrel? it has all the upgrades i wanted already so i consider myself lucky even tho it would have only cost 400$ to build it last year..
That's very interesting. I'll check it out more.
If it's a 1/7 twist shoot 62 75 or 77 over 55gr and they will group better. Nothing crazy but better
I've had one of there 223 barrels haven't had any issues with it I've shot lots rounds with it .
love my BCA 47 7.62X39 GET ONE
I want that BCM MK2 BFH upper but it’s been sold out for like ever
AWESOME.....
Does this come as a kit?
Hope they hava contest 4 some !! Poorer than Joe dirt twice DAV ! Saved up $225. toward a high point carbine but 4 that price maybe my Dream gun a AR?! TY4 video sub'd today also
I can relate. I was considering the HP carbine but BCA and PSA have such good deals I'll just hold on until I have enough for one.
How is it holding up after a year?
Build your own psa, don't let them do it
Is that an aluminum or steel gas block?
just got the same upper (only) for $370 and that was a discount right now lol. hows the bcg holding up??
I purchased their 16" full build 223 Wylde AR 2 years ago. It was also 370 with free shipping. I have put thousands of rounds through it. Zero issues. 2 months ago I purchased their 10.5 5.56 complete upper side charging. It also is flawless and very accurate. Paid $130 for the upper.
A year later these are 500 + now ;,
Theyre 900 now like wtf

How did that work out for you? I have an aero lower now that I am about to buy an upper for (most likely BCA). It will be my first time. Any thoughts?
Rail is offset and why did you put a QD Mount right next to a QD hole? Still a cost affective model
It isnt a qd mount he put there. It's an mlok sling mount.
Which website sells this AR at this price?
Anyone know of a hand guard that will fit this thing? I want a polymer one, the stock aluminum one is too heavy for my taste.
Hello ,I have a question to ask you , where can I buy a Bear Creek ar 15 rifle ?
First!!!! Keep the content coming!
And look at "new" SKS prices...??!!
Why didn’t he show it shooting
Bca guarantees 1 Moa that’s what mine shoots
I recently got mine from BCA and I wasn't very impressed. It was a low quality built upper lots of scratches on the hand guard and barrel. Charging handle is very flimsy and cheap made. . Tried different types of mags and all my ammo would hit inside the barrel. All my casings are dented.
They have a lifetime warranty. Send it back. They fix em fast.
I love all of mine they rock
Back 4 nother look & Wishing 4 one also sucha deal hurt's 2 not be able 2 git one as a DAV $$ go 2 so many other things now ;(
Damn it they dont sell these to civilians in our country now i cant get one to make me feel safe incase a zombie apocalypse happense
Looks like a airsoft gun but that dirt cheap ill buy 2 haha
What's the model of this one? Is it in 5.56?
Yes. This one is the 5.56 model.
If I purchase from this company, they won't screw me over? I've heard some "things" about them.

from buying from these guys . ...you will want more great deals and spend your hard earned money on these great deals. You hear stories of guys buying sks rifles for 69.95 back in the day?.Well, the ar 15 is the best deal right now.BCA now is selling you one hell of a rifle at one hell of a deal.
