Recall, at Saqeefa, Umar Farooq made Abu Baker the 1st Khalifa despite our Rasool (PBUH) had declared Ali to lead Islamic community (meaning to be the 1st Khalifa of Islam) after he is no more. This happened at the plains of Ghadeer when Rasool (PBUH) gave his last sermon while returning from his last Haj to the Muslim community which had done Haj with him. Do not forget, Abu Baker, Umar, Usman etc all ran to usurp the the position instead of ensuring Rasool (PBUH) is first buried in Madina. It is Ali who buried Rasool (PBUH) with the help of few others. Now look up Quran and read the Ayat about Mubaihla which Rasool (PBUH) had with the Christian delegation. And neither from any of these three nor Ayesha were taken along by Rasool (PBUH) for the debate with the Christian priests. So the Sunnis who believe in Quran should realize the actions taken by Rasool (PBUH) while adhering to the Ayat about Mubaihla. Further Sunnis should stop not giving the respect and honour to Ahl-e-Bayat which Quran in the Ayat-eTathira put a stamp that they were above Abu Baker, Ayesha, Umar, Usman etc., and every one from among the Muslim community.And do not forget, it is Ayesha who led the command of 10,00 soldiers to fight against the apparent 4th Khalifa (Ali) in Jang -e- Jamal! Hence how can Ayesha be accorded the respect which unnecessarily is being accorded to Ayesha by Sunni community, who defied the advice given by our Rasool (PBUH)! Yes, Ayesha was Rasool's (PBUH) wife, nothing more than that, though she is accorded uncalled for respect which actually she does not deserve at all. It is Khadija the 1st wife of our Rasool (PBUH) who deserves far greater respect and honour than Ayesha. Hence, never in a Shia family a girl born is given Ayesha name!
