@@SimplyKatieWalks hahaha. So am I (headed toward 50s) and literally just used it for the first time this week. (I had to Google how to use it!! 🤣🤣🤣) but I definitely will use it now that I found it!! 🤷♀️
You seem like a really driven & hardworking person, so it’s a little surprising to me that there’s a list of 4-5 industries that you’d just refuse to work in. I’m not saying you didn’t have some bad experiences, but in my observation, that’s one of the mindsets that holds low income people back. I didn’t start out with much & I could only afford a two-year degree from community college (with financial aid and loans) and I made 6 figures (as a W-2 employee) by the time I was 28 years old. I did a lot of things I didn’t want to do. I worked night shifts, many 80+ hour weeks, moved half way across the country by myself and worked as a contractor with no benefits along the way. Good luck to you, I find your videos interesting and educational.
I have many reasons some are too personal to share. Reasons I won’t disclose on social media. Not everything works for everyone there are tons of careers out there and honestly most of these jobs are taken in my very small area. I’m working on getting myself into positions I can get into. Unfortunately no one wants to see fast food on a resume. We are a tourist area so hospitality and food are what 80 percent of my tiny town does. If I lived in a bigger area that would help but I can’t pick up and just move, I don’t have that kind of cash.
