I'm so glad I stumbled upon your TH-cam channel and website. Life is always giving us learning opporunities and your group has put together some very helpful infomation. After moving out of state for a job, I discovered my new office has only a regular sheetrock wall separating me and a break room with 4 microwave ovens (they're side by side on a counter leading away from me and the effective distance is 10 - 20 ft away). I put up a 35" x 35" canvas painting with 4 layers of aluminum screen and a shielding cloth stapled to the frame behind it; this cuts down the RF by about 1/3 over that area but I'm not done making creative solutions. Since moving offices is not an option right now I'm thinking about propping up a 7' tall plywood sheet against that wall with shielding paint on one side and matching the existing paint color on the other side. The max reading I get with my TF2 and Tenmars 190 is 12 mW/m2 with all of them going but it's usually 5 or 6 with 1 or 2 on. This goes on for ~15 min cumulatively over lunch and then once or twice during the day. It's been a great excuse to leave for lunch.
Beautiful tool! Can the internal battery be replaced when it reaches the end of its useful life? Or does the entire product become unusable at that point? How many times can one expect to recharge the battery?
Hi Ken, thanks for your feedback and question. At the end of its useful life, the internal battery can be replaced. The device has to be disassembled, but no soldering is required. The battery is a coin cell lithium rechargeable battery that is available through electronics supply vendors like DigiKey and Mouser. It is different than the lithium primary (non-rechargeable) batteries more generally available. The battery is vendor specified to provide 70% of its original capacity upon completion of 500 charge-discharge cycles - approximately 4 years of continuous use, and much longer than that if used less frequently. Note that we use conservative high (4.1 V) and low (3.2 V) cutoff levels to extend both the cycle and storage life - per best practices for lithium ion batteries. Our first prototype, assembled in October 2018, still charges properly and runs well.
Thanks for your feedback and question. For this new device, we made a choice to focus on best RF frequency response and accuracy. Also, it needed to be completely safe for electro-sensitive people since it is worn on the body. Displays can compromise antenna performance, accuracy and self-generated EMF emissions. Its primary role is to discreetly alert us when we are in RF radiation areas higher than our desired limit setting. It's great in public areas, coffee shops and restaurants to know when sitting near a WiFi hotspot or cell site. No need to take out a meter. The wrist vibration informs you that you might want to move, and you can then choose to look at the LED for a range reading, or simply carry on your day without anyone knowing.
Sounds like a great product but does it blend? Meaning, does it have 5G capabilities, beyond 8GHz? 5G will be popular, populated and polluted all over.
Thanks for your feedback! This unit does not go much beyond 9 GHz. Future products will address those millimeter wave bands. Right now though, there are a number of "low band" 5G networks being rolled out within the frequency response of this device.

Amazing. Thank you!

How do I get one???
Why not to integrate some LCD for readings? To have both functionality - than i'll buy it.

Great product! Where can I find it? Any coupon codes for the loyal followers who have been waiting for this for a few years now? Cheers!
Hey there Ryan, BERWICK should do the trick
Do you sell this product worldwide? I’d to buy one.
Yes, they are available from Safe Living Technologies.
