I made a duet of the two scenes from "The Flash (2014)" and "Supergirl"

Barry's version is the romantic one with that you make the proposal....Kara's is the more soulful/gospel/for church version....both are greats!!
The reason Kara’s(Melissa’s) version is faster is because they probably wanted to fit at least the first verse and chorus while Iris walked down that pretty short aisle, besides, Iris and Joe were walking pretty fast for a wedding

if only they officially released melissa's version in the same key and tempo... that mashup would be HEAVENLY.... there was that one part, the first line of the chorus, that harmonized perfectly, a preview of what could've been.
I appreciate the effort that went into making this video. However, through no fault of your own, it sounds awful. They're singing in two completely different keys. Although they're the same song, it just does not work. Thanks for uploading though 😁
Agreed. Not the fault of the person who made the video, but there was no harmonisation at all. The two sound great singing the song . . . on their own. If a duet of the song comes, it'll have to be the real deal to sound good so they can hear each other and harmonise.

Definitely right! There are some spots where it works, but a lot of times there is a harmonic dissonance that you definitely don't want haha. But the transitions and overlaps were pretty good :D

The idea here is great, but they sound tough as a duet. It's not JUST the other tunes, it's that the songs have completely different feelings with the different Characters. Barry was trapped in brain world and had to die for Iris to see that he couldn't live in "alive" world without her, not because of selfishness but because of genuine feeling. Kara is celebrating love in a moment where she can't hardly believe that love exists. She's doing a favor for a friend and being gracious about it even though a wedding is the last place she wants to be, especially because the one man she had been all-in fallen in love for is married. Great concept, for sure. They are both amazing musicians and definitely should do a demo as a duet and put the money in hurricane relief charity or something...

Completely not your fault, but they are singing their own versions in different keys and tempos. Can really duet like that without it sounding rocky, no matter how good they both are.
I like both versions, but after hearing this I can't help but like Barry's version more ❤

Great job on the video!!! I know its hard to do knowing that it wont sound quite right with them singing in different keys, but I honestly still wanted someone to make a video of them singing it like a duet. So thank you for making this!!!!!
As someone who has tried, and failed several times, to edit these versions together- I know how hard it is to edit them together... It is a bit out of key, but if you could find a way to slow Kara's version (try slowly the background music and not her voice), that way it's more equal with Barry's, this will be amazing

Since they're singing in different keys, you should have just Kara sing the first verse, then add Barry for the second verse.

They're in different keys also it's pretty clear they rushed the one for Melissa I'm guessing she didn't have enough practice time and it doesn't seem mixed properly
