    Cajun Crab & Shrimp Mac n cheese!
    Full disclaimer* I edited my recipe as the video went on so follow my directions/ method not the quantities. Follow the ingredients list down below
    INGREDIENTS
    1 1lb box of elbow pasta
    6 tbs salted butter
    1.5 lb of crab legs
    1/2 lb of shrimp (peeled & deveined)
    2 tbs smoked paprika
    1.5 tbs cayenne pepper
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon black pepper
    1 teaspoon spicy Italian seasoning
    2 tbs salt free garlic & herb seasoning
    2 cups sharp cheddar
    1 cup smoked Gouda
    1 cup white mild cheese
    2 cups flour
    5/6 cups of milk (depending on how thick you want the sauce
    3.5 cups water
    2-3 squirts olive oil
    1 cup toasted bread crumbs (butter optional)
    METHOD
    Stream crab legs for 3 mins (pre boil water)
    Take out and allow to cool (I left over night)
    Add elbow pasta to speedi with 3.5 cups of water and set to steam for 9 mins
    Take out & set aside
    Season Shrimp
    1/2 tbs paprika
    1/4 tbs cayenne pepper
    1/4 tbs salt free garlic & her seasoning
    1/4 teaspoon each of salt & pepper
    2-3 squirts of oil to help the seasoning stick
    Give a good mix to coat shrimp
    Set speedi to sear sauté lvl 5 and add 3 tbl spoons of butter allow to melt & heat up
    While your speedi is melting the butter, chop your shrimp & crab into small pieces
    Add shrimp to ninja and cook til they turn white, add in the crab meat and stir well so it’s coated in the seasoning and butter.
    Take out of the Speedi and leave aside DON’T CLEAN THE POT!
    Add in remaining butter and stir to get all the remaining seasoning.
    When the butter is melted gradually add your flour constantly stirring.
    You want a golden dough like consistency.
    Next slowly add your milk again constantly stirring so you don’t end up with a lumpy sauce.
    Add the milk a cup - 1/2 cup at a time until you get desired thickness.
    This takes time but be patient! It’s worth it!
    Next add your cheese in batches (I tried to do all at once & made more work for myself)
    If you think the sauce is too thick add more milk
    Next add back in your pasta, crab & shrimp
    Give everything a good mix to get the elbows filled up with all that delicious sauce!
    Add bread crumbs to the top & set your Speedi to bake/roast @ 325 for 15 mins (this is the automatic setting so it’s easy!)
    After the 15 mins an open your lid and allow cool for a few minutes.
    PLATE UP & ENJOY!
    If you want to freeze this recipe I recommend an air tight container or vacuum sealed bag. It will keep well for 3 months
    When it’s time to reheat. Defrost & add 2 tablespoons of milk per portion to bring it back to life!
