These are 4-ohm speakers (with the exception of the 4" speakers that come in a 2-ohm variant) generally home receivers run at 8-ohms and vary, check with your receiver if you are able to run it at 4-ohms so that they can be powered properly, otherwise you run the risk of blowing the speaker and it would not be covered under warranty for that purpose.
The 46KMC2 has a wiring diagram, you'll connect the speaker wires coming off the back of the KMC2 to each speaker we recommend the solder and shrink wrap method for marine applications. If you aren't comfortable doing this we recommend professional installation.
Hello bud I found the speakers I want (45km654l) but can’t find the little 4” ones and can’t find the remot for the lights any way I can place and order for all that ?
You would have to install a toggle switch, there are no switches on the unit itself. It is very simple, just install the switch on the 12V Positive lead wire. You can find switch panels here zjoutfitters.com/search?type=product&q=switch+panel* or just a simple switch such as this zjoutfitters.com/products/blue-sea-7480-360-panel-rocker-switch-spst-on-off-7480?_pos=17&_sid=7278556f4&_ss=r, be sure you have a 2A fuse in place.
@@leodimercurio981 You will need to install a switch or panel to turn the lights off. Most boats usually have a battery switch which shuts down the electrical system when not in use. I am assuming your boat does not have one of those, therefore you will need to wire a switch or buy a panel or the light will remain on and it will drain the battery over time.
Kicker makes a line of speakers that are for cars without water resistance ratings, these can be installed in a car but generally they are installed in an environment that needs the water resistance, such as boats, off road vehicles like Jeeps, Truck beds, and ATV's. - ZJ Outfitters
Yes that is what they are designed for I have a maxi scooter and there aren't a lot of high quality speakers for them on the market under $500, if you have a good spot to mount them or pair them with the 40KMMTES (empty speaker cans) they will sound amazing, especially when paired with an amp! Give us a call or send me an email at sales@zjoutfitters.com I can put in a special order and go over some options for you.
I have a key west boat with a JBL PRV head unit. I have 2 6.5” JBL speakers and 2 DUAL 6.5” speakers (the DUALs are 100 watt peak, 20rms… not sure what JBL is) 3 of the 4 work, the one that does work sounds loud enough so I’m fine with whatever as long as it’s same as that or better. Also have a tower speaker.. just one. I am looking to replace tower speaker with 2 6” kicker tower speakers (peak per pair is 390 watts/195 watts each rms, 130 watts pair/ 65 watts each injection), am wanting to replace the 4 speakers with 4 kicker 6.5” 390 watts peak power per pair/ 195 peak watts each speaker, each speaker 130 watts rms per pair/ 65 rms each. And will replace the head unit with a kicker 200 watt total peak power for 4 channels. Will I need an AMP? Or can I hook it all up to the head unit and be fine?
You don't necessarily need an amp but you're missing out on the speakers full potential without one, we just had a huge shipment of amplifiers arrive from Kicker, please send us a message at sales@zjoutfitters.com and we'll put together an awesome package for you! with and without an amp.

I'm looking to install these outdoors by a pool and hook them up to a home receiver. Can this be done and how would you hook up the LED lights?

Hi I purchased the45KM604WL kickers with blue LED light only . my question is do leds stay on permanently or is there a switch to shut them off ?

@@ZJOutfitters Thank you so much but if no switch they stay on permanently even during the day
And will it hurt if they’re on for a good period of the day ? draining battery wise if just listening to music
?

Are the 4 inches loud enough for a bike or quad?

If you connect the blue only speaker to the battery it will always be on. How do you turn it off?
You will need to wire a switch to the lights for the KM604WL to turn them off they will not turn off on their own.
How do u connect the remote
Check out 6:50 for more details on how the remote is connected and the diagrams.
