I used to be "meh" about lane splitting (as opposed to lane filtering, when everyone is stopped, I support that) but the morons flying along at high speed and getting bent out of shape as a car begins what appears to the driver as a safe lane change, is changing my mind. When I've been car driving I've also be spooked by bikers literally just appearing at my side as they go hell bent for leather between vehicles. It's just straight-up dumassery.
