The chapters keep getting better, and better…only to see that I have just a few more to go. 😢 My word for this chapter was WATCH: it emphasizes the critical importance of being watchful in our lives. Jesus’ words on the future events calls us to stay spiritually vigilant, discerning, and ready. This chapter challenged me to maintain a posture of being “awake”, living each day with the awareness that Jesus could return at any moment. This watchfulness involves both personal and spiritual discipline and a proactive approach to sharing the Good News and encouraging the people in my sphere to prepare for our Lord’s second coming. Today is June 23rd, 2024, Sunday.
