This is the dumbest thing ever. (Have only seen “sticker retainers” on the cheapest Grade 3 locks.) When the adhesive wears off (which it will eventually) the pins and springs will fall in to the inside of the knob.

I agree. It’s not like these were difficult to rekey to begin with.

By depressing the retainer through the poke hole on the rose.
