Devastating crash, you could legit see how fast he was going the wind held the car in the air for a split second.
Dewayne has partaken in some gnarly wrecks. He was in a car that pure took flight in Georgia one year. His cars are typically fast as fuck.

Really shows you how far safety has come in a "street" race or any drag racing that you're pushing for anything faster than 9 secs in a quarter mile you should have roll cages.

Pretty sure youve never seen a car roll on uneven land 20 times before at 100+mph.
It has nothing to do with the how the cage was built. It has to do with the variables of the crash.
Torn apart or not, that roll cage saved his life! When these guys walk away from a crash of that magnitude. They should find the welder that built it and thank them for still being alive. Us welders take many lives into our hands building certain things, and we know it! I know, I save soldiers lives every day with the skills my hands possess! I love that feeling!

Whoever did his chassis did a kinda bad job... yeah it saved his life but it honestly did look super fast compared to some of the other crashes and his car was tore apart worse than anyone’s!!!

It's racing on a public street. The street is closed and of course there is fire/rescue on scene. It's a TV show, there's not a production company in the world that would sign up to produce a show with actual street racing on public roads open to the public and without safety crews. If you want traditional street racing search for it right here on TH-cam. Some of these guys actually race in real street racing occasionally too. But in those videos you can't see shit because of limited camera angles, crappy lighting, and usually poor editing. Otherwise, why are you even here? Just to complain about a tv show?

If Lutz didn't leave early like he did, the other guy would have more than likely taken him out as well. I'm glad the guy was able to walk away, but it's funny how the world works. Had Lutz been on the light as usual, he likely would've been fixing his car if not buying a new chassis to work with.
