    Fellow Aussie card maker and new subscriber here. Your cards are very pretty. Thanks for the tip. I generally make the vellum about 1cm longer than I want it so I can make a little flap to hide adhesive under and I leave the rest of the panel loose - just another look.

    I’m wondering if putting the colour on the backing card might be easier.

      you could definately try that with water colours but with the alcohol inks you need a slick surface for the ink to move around. If you used Yupo as your background paper it will work. Great idea!

    New follower here, and most delighted to have found you. Your cards are beautiful and inspiring. I do have a concern, as I had previously heard that spraying alcohol is hazardous to lung tissue. What is your understanding?

    • @josimons9765
      @josimons9765  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think and this is just from my understanding that it is probably no worse than the chemical cleaners we use every day. It is just isopropol/rubbing alcohol that I use that actually comes in a spray bottle. I do know that the blending solution that is used for alcohol inks should not be inhaled as it has a sticky residue in the formula that is not good for your lungs That needs to stay in the dripper bottle and not sprayed around. I hope that helps x.

    Hi Jo, I’m enjoying the paper cuter and scrapbook bag I got from you lol. Do you buy yr Isopropyl alcohol from the states? I’ve tried buying it here from the chemist but they don’t sell the higher % & what % do you use pls 😊

      Hi Sandy, I use the Diggers Isopropyl alcohol. I got mine from Bunnings. Couture Creations also sell a big bottle too
